Cater To U was one of the most popular songs from Beyonce's Destiny Fulfilled, which was also the last album of Destiny's Child. Besides being a chartbuster and peaking at number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100, the song also got two Grammy nominations and won several other awards.

However, the most iconic moment related to Cater To U was when Beyonce gave actor Terrance Howard a lap dance during a live performance of the song at the 2005 BET Awards. In fact, all three members of Destiny's Child called a celebrity from the stage to 'Cater to', which the audience later realized meant a lap dance.

Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, and Beyonce entered in brown dresses and started rocking the stage. However, their performance peaked when the trio started looking for audience members to join them on stage for something special.

Kelly Rowland chose her Dilemma co-singer Nelly, Michelle Williams went with NBA superstar Magic Johnson, while Queen Bey picked Terrence Howard who was sitting beside his parents in the audience. While the other two pairs were enjoying the lap dance and giggling throughout, Terrence Howard seemed hypnotized by Queen Bey's moves.

Terrence Howard talked about the iconic BET Award night incident eight years later in an interview with Andy Cohen on his show, Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. When asked about how he felt about the lap dance, Howard said that he would rate it a nine.

However, the Crescent City actor made it clear that Queen Bey had an ulterior motive and she wanted to show the actor what he had missed after he shrugged off her previous advances. He said:

“Her lap-dance skills are, like, a nine. But her spirit and her intent ? because I tried to talk to her once and I missed that opportunity, and she was, like, ‘This is what you missed’ ? that was 100."

Thereafter, he revealed that the two almost got together but the actor ruined his chances by eyeing Beyonce's friend instead.

“We talked for a minute. There was chemistry. But it was over when I started talking to her friend!” he recalled.

Finally, the host also asked him if they had anything romantic on the night of the 2005 BET Awards. However, Terrence turned it down instantaneously and quipped that Jay-Z would kill him if he did anything like that.

The Roc Nation boss had already been in a relationship with Beyonce for four years by that time and the two are presently one of the most high-profile couples in the industry with three kids.

The very next year after her famous lap dance to Terrence Howard, Beyonce produced yet another iconic performance at the BET Awards. The Cowboy Carter artist produced an iconic performance of her song Deja Vu from the album B'Day which was made in collaboration with her her husband Jay-Z.

Clad in a silver skirt and skinny high heels, Queen Bey captured the attention of everyone as she gyrated throughout the stage while singing the song. The 32-time Grammy winner even sang a part of the song while lying on the floor for a few moments.

However, the most iconic moment was when Jay-Z joined her on stage to stage to sing his lines for his then-girlfriend. The performance also got a standing round of applause from everyone in attendance.
