Did Cardi B have an affair with Takeoff? WAP rapper calls out fake screenshot after online spat with Offset

Shortly after Offset accused Cardi B of cheating on him during the rapper's Instagram Live on September 25, 2024, an X (formerly Twitter) user shared a fake post about Cardi's affair with Takeoff. The screenshot of the X user's post claimed that Cardi ranted about cheating on Offset with late rapper Takeoff.

The post is, however, now hidden for breaking X's community rule and was captioned “IKDR Cardi.”. It showed Cardi stating:

“You cheated on me YEARS AFTER YEARS my n*gga! The only difference is you got caught I didn’t. You would be even more BUTT hurt if you knew the relationship me and Takeoff had before he passed. RIP to the ONLY real n*gga from the group I miss those nights.”

Cardi B was quick to dismiss rumors of her having an affair with Takeoff or cheating on Offset with the late rapper. She took to X on September 26, 2024, and attached the fake thread stating:

"This is fake and weird the fuk"

Moreover, on September 26, 2024, Offset addressed Cardi B via a tweet highlighting the late Takeoff's initials and tweeted:

"Listen to your ppl take and the bros TOld me !!"

This triggered a response from Takeoff's brother YRN Lingo who responded to Offset's tweet stating his late brother didn't say anything to the rapper and that he should let his twin rest in peace.

"I’ve always been too good for you"- Cardi B tells Offset during Instagram Live

On September 25, 2024, Cardi B took to Instagram Live to talk to her fans when Offset alleged that she cheated on him while pregnant. The Up rapper took to X on September 26, 2024, tweeting "AND DID !!!!!!" as a sarcastic response to Offset's allegations.

Moreover, Cardi shared multiple details about Offset during her Instagram Live, expressing her discontent with people who think they can buy someone. She indirectly mentioned that when she started talking to other men Offset threatened her by taking away things that she had worked hard for.

The WAP rapper addressed Offset directly and mentioned:

"Since you wanna threaten me, talking about you wanna take my sh*t cause I wanna move on? Move on. It's no fun when momma got the gun, right?"

Further into the Instagram Live, Cardi commented on the other women that Offset might be having relations with and stated:

"I'm too much woman for you. ... And I've always been too good for you."

The Please Me rapper went on to say that Offset has done it all and that nothing surprises her anymore so she has stopped caring. Additionally, she thanked Offset for all three of their children; daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus (6), son Wave Set Cephus (3), and their newborn daughter.

Cardi said while she doesn't regret any of her children, she regrets her relationship with Offset and went on to call him a good father to the kids.

Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset after six years of marriage on July 31, 2024. Previously, the couple had announced their split in 2018 and after they reconciled, Cardi filed for divorce in 2020 which resulted in the couple reconciling again. The Bongos rapper announced her divorce and third pregnancy together on Instagram on August 1, 2024.
