BTS debuted in 2013 with the single album '2 Cool 4 Skool' and has since become one of the most popular K-POP groups. The boy band has collaborated with numerous artists over the last 11 years, including the gangsta-rap icon Snoop Dogg.
The boy band joined Snoop and American record producer Benny Blanco in 2022 as they collaborated on the single Bad Decisions. The song was released as a non-album single on August 5 of the same year and featured the BTS members Jungkook, Jimin, Jin, and V. A music video featuring Snoop and Blanco came out on the same day.
A month after its release, Bad Decisions peaked at the 86th position on South Korea's Circle Digital Chart. The song performed better in the United States and secured tenth place on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Snoop Dogg first confirmed the unexpected collaboration with the K-POP Band while appearing in an interview with The AV Club in March 2022:
“The BTS experience you keep talking about. I’m going to let them tell you about it. It’s official like a referee with a whistle.”
Sharing how K-POP is a vibe, the rapper added:
“I love that entertainment world. It’s good music. It’s [a] vibe. I make good music. They make good music. And we end up doing this. This is what it’s always about, bringing our worlds together.”

BTS has been one of the most active K-POP groups over the last decade. The boy band has released six EPs, nine studio albums, and at least 43 singles as lead artist. They have also released over 100 non-single tracks.

1.) Best of Me - The Chainsmokers
Best of Me was the third track to BTS' Love Yourself album and came out on September 18, 2017. Andrew Taggart from The Chainsmokers co-wrote the song with the K-POP group. The EDM-themed track was the boy band's first album track collaboration with an American artist. The music video received over 16 million views on YouTube.
(2.) The Truth Untold - Steve Aoki
The third track to the boy band's Love Yourself album featured Steve Aoki and was released on May 18, 2018. It peaked at the seventh position on South Korea's Circle Digital Chart. The boy band and Steve Aoki also came together for Waste It On Me, which was released on November 19 of the same year. While The Truth Untold secured over 33 million YouTube views, Waste It On Me got over 54 million views.
(3.) Boy With Luv - Halsey
The track featuring Halsey was part of the band's sixth EP, Map of the Soul: Persona, which came out on April 12, 2019. The summer song was a popular hit and peaked at the top position on the South Korea Hot 100 chart. It also secured the eighth rank on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.
(4.) My Universe - BTS x Coldplay
The boy band joined hands with Coldplay in August 2020 and recorded My Universe within a month. The song was released as the second single from Coldplay's Music of the Spheres album on September 24, 2021. It debuted at the #1 spot on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart within weeks of its release. The South Korean release secured the second spot on the Circle Digital Chart.
(5.) Butter (remix) - Megan Thee Stallion
BTS released the hit single Butter (original) in May 2021. It was the longest chart-topping hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2021. Megan collaborated with the boy band to create a remix. Following some legal troubles with her record label, 1501 Certified Entertainment, she released Butter (remix) on August 27, 2021. The official visualizer of the remix received over 71 million views on YouTube.
(6.) Bad Decisions - Benny Blanco and Snoop Dogg
The non-album single was released on August 5, 2022. It was the first and only collaborative project between the K-POP icons BTS and the rap legend Snoop Dogg. The single did not feature the whole band, and only Jungkook, Jimin, Jin, and V contributed to the track. The official video for the single has received over 56 million views and 2.9 million likes on YouTube.
BTS is on a hiatus till 2025 as the band members have enlisted in the South Korean military for mandatory military service. Jin was the first to enlist in December 2022, followed by J-Hope in April 2023.
In September 2023, Suga was also conscripted as a social service agent. The last four members - RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook - enlisted for mandatory military service in December 2023.
