The entertainment world is grappling with the recent developments surrounding music mogul Sean Diddy Combs, as an investigation into serious allegations has sparked widespread media attention.

On September 16, 2024, Diddy was arrested in New York. The Bad Boy record producer was charged with s*x trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution, as per the indictment.

However, Diddy's attorney issued a statement asserting his client's innocence, expressing confidence that he will be cleared in court. Despite this declaration, the rapper now faces 120 lawsuits, all of a similar nature, alleging s*xual assault.

Furthermore, Diddy's legal challenges did not begin this September. In fact, they date back to November 16, 2023, when his longtime former partner, Cassie Ventura, filed a lawsuit accusing the music mogul of s*xual assault and physical abuse during their relationship.

This marked the start of a series of legal issues that have since escalated.

Amid the ongoing developments surrounding Combs, this article provides a comprehensive timeline of the allegations and legal challenges he faces following his recent arrest.

September 16, 2024:

According to the New York Times, Combs was arrested on Monday, September 16, at the Park Hyatt Hotel on West 57th Street in Manhattan around 08:30 p.m. Following the arrest, an indictment was sealed, which was filed by the Southern District of New York at the time of his arrest.

U.S. Attorney Damian Williams confirmed in a press conference that federal law would unseal the indictment on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 —

"We expect to move to unseal the indictment in the morning and will have more to say at that time," Williams revealed.

Moreover, as per NBC, a person present in the situation suggested that Diddy was taken aback by detention at the time of the arrest.

September 17, 2024:

Following his arrest, a 14-page lengthy indictment was filed against Diddy, unsealed on Tuesday. According to the New York Post, the indictment included all allegations, including his alleged "Freak Off" parties, which were widely referenced as prosecutors claimed that in the parties, Combs hired s*x workers and allegedly drugged them or put them under the influence of substances for them to act "obedient" for Combs.

"Freak Offs were elaborate and produced s*x performances that Combs arranged, directed, masturbated during, and often electronically recorded," the indictment reads.

Furthermore, the indictment claims that Combs has been involved in these activities under his business labels since at least 2008.

September 18, 2024:

According to CNN, Diddy's attorney offered $50 million as a bond for his client's bail. However, the first judge, U.S. Magistrate Judge Robyn Tarnofsky, denied his request.

September 27, 2024:

Following the denial of his bail, numerous allegations have emerged, with several celebrities weighing in on the situation surrounding the music mogul.

On this particular date, Combs faced 10 lawsuits from an anonymous woman who accused him of s*xually assaulting her over four years.

Additionally, a woman identified as Jane Doe came forward, alleging that Diddy s*xually assaulted her. In her lawsuit, she described waking up one day to find her feet purple and bruised, with bite marks present.

October 1, 2024:

A new lawsuit has been filed in which the accuser's attorney, Tony Buzbee, stated during a press conference that his client was pregnant at the time of the alleged incident. Buzbee claimed that Combs had laced her drink, causing her to black out.

The following morning, she reportedly woke up in Combs' bed with soreness and tears in her genital area —

"She wasn't drinking because she was pregnant. But whatever she drank at the table, at least according to her, was laced with something," the attorney stated.

Moreover, Tony Buzbee suggested that more than 120 accusers will file against Combs in the next 30 days. Buzbee also noted that he and his team have collected videos and pictures of s*xual assault as evidence.

Numerous allegations and lawsuits have been filed against Combs, all of which he has denied. According to Glamour magazine, his next court appearance is scheduled for October 9, 2024.

He is currently being held in the Special Housing Unit of the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
