Following Diddy's recent arrest and indictment, there have been a lot of stories circulating about the rapper's alleged behavior with women. Renowned music journalist Touré recently made new claims about Diddy.

On September 25, 2024, Touré appeared on The ReidOut with Joy Reid wherein he talked about how his cousin began working with Diddy as an intern. The journalist added that he had amicable relations with the rapper and about 10-12 years ago, he called the music mogul to ask for a favor, which was to hire his family member as an intern.

Touré went on to explain that his cousin suddenly stopped working for Diddy after a few months of joining. Eventually, the intern opened up to his relative and music journalist about what had happened. In his interview, Touré alleged:

“Puff had said, ‘Come home, stay the night with me or the internship is over". And [the intern] said, ‘Absolutely not.’ And the internship ended."

He added:

"From there I was like, ‘Oh, this is how it goes. Okay.’ So to hear that things went even further with potentially, allegedly, [with] many other people, we feel like we’ve seen this coming.”

"He's not in his right self" — Touré comments on Diddy

On September 23, 2024, Touré gave an interview with TMZ Live wherein he claimed that Diddy's alleged drug use could be the reason the rapper organized "Freak-Off" parties. He mentioned that the Last Night rapper was a different person decades ago, describing him as "extremely sharp, motivational, [and] very strategic" back then.

Without getting into much detail, the journalist further shared his views and claimed that the rapper's mind had been clouded for the last 15 years. Elaborating on the same, Touré stated:

"He's not in his right self. It's been a haze of drug abuse and that's why he's making these horrendous decisions."

However, the journalist also clarified that he wasn't quoting drugs as an excuse for the musical artist's behavior but was trying to emphasize how he ended up in his current situation.

Additionally, during MSNBC's The ReidOut interview, Touré mentioned that drug abuse was central to all the problems Diddy was facing and claimed that he also took his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura into addiction.

He added that Cassie had been recording an album with Diddy for almost 10 years. He further claimed that in reality, it was a "giant pacifier" to keep her distracted while the Coming Home rapper used her for his alleged "Freak-Off' parties. Touré mentioned that Cassie got the courage to speak up against the rapper after she went to rehab and this inspired other victims to tell their stories.

On September 16, 2024, Diddy was arrested on racketeering and s*x trafficking charges. According to Complex, the rapper offered a $50 million bail package that comprised travel restrictions, however, his bail was denied. People magazine reported that he is currently in jail until his trial begins. His next court appearance is likely to take place in early October.

The rapper's attorney Marc Agnifio told the media that the public should reserve all judgment till all the facts as in and informed everyone that the rapper has been cooperative with the investigation.
