Following the arrest of All My Life hitmaker Lil Durk, fans playfully begged his look-alike and TikTok star Perkio to take the fall for him. According to a CBS News report, Durk was arrested on Thursday night, October 24, on a murder-for-hire charge. The Grammy Award-winning artist was arrested in Florida's Broward County.
After news of Lil Durk's arrest got out, fans of the rapper took to social media and began humorously asking his look-alike Perkio to take the fall instead of the rapper. Perkio's comments section on his Instagram post was full of people requesting the rapper to do the same. Lil Durk has previously acknowledged the TikTok star and even hung out with him backstage at one of his concerts.
Some Durk fans even slid into the rapper's DM's to put forth their request. One X user and rapper who went by @Zazamyodor on the platform shared a screenshot of Perkio's Instagram DMs, where a fan assured the TikTok star that Durk would take care of him if he took the fall. The X user captioned the screenshot, saying:

Lil Durk was arrested on an alleged murder-for-hire charge
According to BBC, five days before Durk's arrest, five people were reportedly charged in Chicago in relation to the 2022 shooting of rival rapper Quando Rondo's cousin Saviay'a Robinson in L.A. These five people allegedly had ties to Durk's hip-hop group, Only The Family (OTF).
BBC also reported that the aforementioned five men allegedly organized the 2022 shooting as a retaliation for the death of King Von in 2020. Authorities alleged that some of the accused shot up a car in which Quando Rondo, his sister, and his cousin were traveling, which reportedly resulted in the death of Rondo's cousin Saviay'a Robinson.
The 33-year-old Chicago rapper, whose real name is Durk Devontay Banks, founded OTF in 2010. King Von was a prominent member of OTF at the time of his death. Von passed away after a gunfire altercation allegedly with Quando Rondo's crew on November 6, 2020. Although Quando Rondo's friend Timothy "Lul Tim" Leeks was initially charged with Von's murder, the charges were later dropped in 2023. Rondo himself was not hit with any charges.
After being nominated four times, Lil Durk recently won his first Grammy Award in February of this year. Durk won the Best Melodic Rap Performance Award for his track All My Life featuring J Cole.
As per ABC News, the DOJ said that the arraignments for Banks and the five other defendants are expected to occur in Los Angeles federal court in the coming weeks,
