Nicki Minaj is officially the wealthiest female rapper in the world. With her net worth estimated to be a whopping $150 million in 2024, Minaj comes second to no other female rapper in earnings, whether older or younger.
Given the wealth the Truffle Butter rapper has amassed in her career, it comes as no surprise that she owns a private jet. Minaj's private jet is a G5—or Gulfstream V 5—with a range of 12,501km and a top speed of 941km/h. It is equipped with a Rolls Royce BR700 engine and can seat up to 14 passengers.
According to Airacer, Nicki spent between $43 and $72 million on the private jet. While the exact date the rapper bought it is uncertain, she first shared about it on an Instagram post.
Nicki Minaj first shared a clip of her private jet's interiors in 2017
In November 2017, Nicki Minaj posted a video of the interiors of her private jet on Instagram, captioning it:
"Who wants to fly with me? You get your own bedroom & your own bathroom. For the low low."
Minaj might be the owner of the Gulfstream, but she isn't the only one who gets to enjoy riding in the private. She often travels in it with her husband, Kenneth Petty.
In November 2021, roughly a year after her son - who's addressed by Papa Bear - was born, the couple took their one-year-old for his first private jet experience. The Pink Friday rapper posted short clips from the trip on her Instagram handle.
The most expensive cars in Minaj's garage
Nicki Minaj's private jet - while impressive - isn't the only luxury item she possesses. Just as she flies in style, the Side to Side rapper prefers to drive in style.
Minaj bought her first luxury car upon releasing her debut studio album, Pink Friday, in 2010. She also got the Lamborghini Aventador - worth $450,000 - finished in a bright pink shade, including the interiors and rims, to celebrate her album.
In 2019, Nicki Minaj was spotted in two of her Rolls Royce cars—one a newly bought black Cullinan worth $350,000 and the other a blue Wraith worth $380,000.
The Starships rapper also owns a Mercedes Benz SLS AMG, currently priced at $290,000. Nicki's Lamborghini Gallardo - which cost $200,000 - is among the cheaper luxury cars in her garage.
Inside Minaj's luxury handbag collection
Nicki Minaj's fashion makes a statement of its own. The 41-year-old has an enviable collection of luxury handbags, largely including Chanel, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton.
The most expensive handbag Minaj was spotted carrying in public is a Hermes Birkin 35, which is currently sold for $12,700. Other luxury handbags in her collections are Chanel's Classic Double Flap Bag, worth $10,800; a Boy Bag, worth $6,9000; and Tweed Boy Flap Bag, worth $6,600.
Nicki Minaj owns the brand's Shearling Boy Flap, Cuba Rainbow Boy Flap, and Classic Trendy Top Handle bags. Her Gucci collection consists of a signature GG Backpack worth $2,350 and a Bamboo Top Handle Bag worth $5,400. The Super Freaky Girl rapper is also seen with Louis Vuitton's Lumineuse Empreint Tote ($2,000) and a Bellevue Vernis ($1,310).
Nicki Minaj doesn't spend lavishly on herself but also on her crew and team. Earlier in 2024, she gifted all her backup dancers Gucci handbags as a thank-you present. Each bag was estimated to be worth $5,000.
A look at Minaj's $19 million LA mansion
In 2023, Nicki Minaj bought a lavish mansion with husband Kenneth Petty as she turned 40, which is her most luxurious possession to date. The mansion, located in LA's Hidden Hills neighborhood, spreads across 12,000 square feet.
Designed as a modern farmhouse, it boasts 8 bedrooms, a detached guesthouse, a dedicated home gym, a recording studio, entertainment centers, indoor and outdoor pools, and expansive walk-in closets.
Before moving into her Hidden Hills mansion, Minaj lived in a $10 million mansion in Beverly Hills, spread across 7,000 square feet. The Hey Mama rapper has always lived luxuriously since her rap career took off, another reminder of how luxury is her ultimate lifestyle statement.
Nicki Minaj's deluxe album Pink Friday 2: Gag City Reloaded is scheduled to be released on September 13, 2024, on streaming platforms.
