On October 7, 2024, Drake took to his Instagram stories to post multiple pictures out of which one was a picture of Solange taken after her infamous argument with Jay-Z in 2014.
The picture Drizzy posted was from the 2014 Met Gala afterparty wherein surveillance footage showed Jay-Z and Solange arguing in an elevator and soon after, Solange was seen hitting and kicking Jay-Z. After a point, Beyonce had to intervene and stop the fight.
Internet users were quick to react to Drizzy posting Solange's photo and took to X to express their opinions on the same. Commenting on the Passionfruit rapper's story being funny, an X user tweeted:

On October 2, 2024, Drake unfollowed NBA players LeBron James and then DeMar DeRozan on Instagram which fans speculated was due to the two supporting Kendrick Lamar by joining his Juneteenth concert. During The Pop Out: Ken & Friends concert on June 19, 2024, LeBron James was in the audience and DeRozan joined Kendrick on stage as the rapper performed Not Like Us.
Recently, Drizzy made an appearance at the Nostalgia Party in Toronto which took place on October 5, 2024, hosted by Canadian broadcaster Tyrone Edwards. During the party, the One Dance rapper took the mic and addressed his friends who were present there while telling the audience:
“I’m going to tell you, you’re going to come to a point in life where people you thought were your friends or people you thought were close to you, they might switch up."
The Family Matters rapper continued saying, "That’s just how life is,” noting that sometimes it feels like it’s just you alone, without anyone else by your side.
