Drake announced The Anita Max Win Tour in November 2024 and has made headlines concerning the Anita Max Wynn chain. On December 31, 2024, luxury jewelry brand Jason of Beverly Hills posted a video of a custom Anita Max Wynn chain made for Drizzy.
The post was captioned:
"Carrying the weight of greatness. Go big or go home! Thank you @champagnepapi for always putting your trust in us. Surprise feature: Hidden door that opens to reveal the heart of Toronto 🌃"
According to a report by Hypebeast dated December 31, 2024, the Anita Max Wynn chain is made using three kilograms of gold and more than 250 carats of diamond. Commenting on the design customized for Drake, Jason of Beverly Hills designer Jason Arasheben mentioned:
“Having done a number of Owl pieces for Drake, I was excited to work with him on a pendant of his alter ego. Just as the cartoon holds more meaning than meets the eye, so does the pendant. The back features all the dates of his Australian tour with a secret compartment revealing the Toronto skyline.”
Additionally, the back of the chain features a geographical map of Australia and New Zealand featuring the cities and stadiums Drizzy will be performing in during the Anita Max Wynn tour. On opening the back, one can witness the skyline of Drake's hometown, Toronto, featuring the Rogers Centre and CN Tower. The pendant is attached to a chain of colorful diamonds.
Who is Anita Max Wynn? Everything to know about Drake's alter ego
Drake's upcoming The Anita Max Wynn Tour is named after a character he introduced in December 2023 on a Kick live stream. Announcing the character as his alter ego, Drizzy mentioned in the stream:
"Ladies with gentle hands, this is my alter ego, Anita Max Wynn.”
According to a report by Complex dated January 2024, the character appears to be a meme cartoon featuring a red bob haircut with bangs, a pink and yellow outfit, and circular glasses, similar to the design of the Jason of Beverly Hills Anita Max Wynn chain.
The name of Drizzy's alter ego is inspired by his liking for gambling and loosely follows the popular gambling phrase "I need a max win." The publication stated that it is speculated the original designer of the cartoon could be visual designer Seol Garcia, who goes by @createdbyseol on Instagram.
After introducing Anita Max Wynn as his alter ego on Kick, Drake released a trucker hat collection in January 2024 featuring the character on the front of the hats. The hats came in black and aquamarine colors with the logo of the gambling company Stake. Drizzy partnered with Stake in March 2022, and the Anita Max Wynn hats appeared to be a continuation of his partnership with the gambling company.
Drake announced the dates for his The Anita Max Win Tour on November 28, 2024. The tour marks the One Dance rapper's first visit to Australia since 2017. Produced by Live Nation, the Anita Max Win Tour is set to begin on February 9, 2025, in Melbourne. The tour is set to end on March 1, 2025, in Auckland, in addition to featuring concerts in Brisbane and Sydney.
