After performing the record live in Thailand, alongside Hanumankind, at this year's Rolling Loud festival, A$AP Rocky finally delivered his first collaboration with an Indian hip-hop artist on Friday (December 6).

HMK distributed the highly awaited Big Dawgs (Remix) to all major streaming platforms yesterday via Capitol Records and Universal Music India. A$AP Rocky opens on the first verse, delivering lines like:

"Pulled off with the digits (Yeah), they call that sh*t pimpin' (Pimpin') / Could tell it's me in the LV up on my Timberland (Yeah) / I stuck my key in it, purr, it started tremblin' (Yeah) / A red beam between his eyes turned him Indian / Lord, it's him again, forgive me if I sin again / We on ten again, n***a, time to win again"

While receiving a slightly modified production from Kalmi, the new record also features a fresh verse from the South Indian rapper. HMK notably highlights his recent successes, exploring the worldwide praise Big Dawgs received following its release in July.

"I studied the ways of the greats (That's right) / I'm breakin' the locks on the gates (Yeah) / I'm breakin' her back, like I said before, I'm breakin' the boundaries place / Yeah, not too many around that relate, not too many around, I agree (Nah) / So tell me what's up for debate, my dog, we settlin' things for a fee (Brrt)," Hanumankind raps on 'Big Dawgs Remix'.

Several media outlets began reposting the record across social media platforms, with fans taking to X (formerly Twitter) to share their thoughts and opinions on the "A$AP x HMK" collaboration.

AXE's official X account commented on a post from the NFR Podcast, wishing for the release of A$AP Rocky's highly anticipated fourth studio album Don't Be Dumb.

Similar reactions followed from fans sharing their angst with the rapper delaying the release of Don't Be Dumb, which was initially scheduled for a late 2024 release.

"Is he ever gonna drop his album??," a fan questioned.
"Rocky is doing everything except dropping an album," said another.
"He goes well on the beat but like damn just drop the album I need more songs with features," a fan added.

Fans were seen sharing praise and appreciation for the new record, with individuals also addressing the hate and criticism Big Dawgs (Remix) has been receiving online.

"The hate is so forced and corny," a fan claimed.
"Happy it was a true remix and not just an added verse like most," said another.
"Genuinely one of the best songs this year. Hip-Hop too reliant on old blood like Travis & Carti. Same ppl complaining bumped Tommy Richmann. I wonder what's different now!?," a fan stated.

While the track did generate positive reactions from both fanbases, few individuals were seen criticizing A$AP Rocky and Hanumankind's new collaboration.

"I think this remix came out too late. At this point, the song has already ran its course. They should've came out with this at the peak of the songs popularity to continue the wave and momentum," a user stated.
"Song was better before Asap hopped on this beat," another suggested.
"Just my opinion but this kinda song is for people who actually don’t like hip hop music," a critic claimed.

Everything you need to know about A$AP Rocky's upcoming album 'Don't Be Dumb'

A$AP Rocky is gearing up for the release of his highly anticipated follow-up to 2018's Testing. The rapper's fourth studio album, titled Don't Be Dumb, is scheduled to be distributed to streaming platforms via Atlantic Records.

The project was first revealed in 2018, with Rocky teasing the project via social media posts and interviews. From "smiley face" clothing pieces to multiple teasers, fans have been receiving hints of Don't Be Dumb's oncoming release for several years.

Earlier this year, BBC reported that Don't Be Dumb was being delayed because of "leaks and sample clearance issues".

After missing its original August release date, the 36-year-old rapper sat down for an exclusive interview with Dazed magazine in October to explain his decision to delay his fourth studio album, stating:

"I think my fans can expect the unexpected with me. I got a chance to reassess the bit and do some finishing touches before we actually put it out"

While major details surrounding the album are yet to be confirmed, the rapper has dropped several singles that fans speculate will be included in the official tracklist for Don't Be Dumb. The list of records A$AP Rocky released this year have been listed below:

  1. Highjack
  2. Tailor Swif
  3. Ruby Rosary (feat. J. Cole)

During a 2024 interview with Billboard, the rapper cited film director Tim Burton's influence on producing his new album, explaining:

"I sat and I played the album for Tim Burton, and he was f**king with it heavy. He was rocking his head and he’s like, ‘Wow! I didn’t know you made that kind of music!"

While Tim was unable to reportedly help in designing the official artwork for Don't Be Dumb, his close friend and frequent collaborator, Danny Elfman, will supposedly have multiple production credits on the album.

Other collaborators expected to make guest appearances on A$AP Rocky's fourth studio album include Tyler, The Creator, Pharrell Williams, Mike Dean, Peso Pluma, and Metro Boomin.

While fans continue to await the release of A$AP Rocky's Don't Be Dumb, the rapper is currently scheduled to face a criminal trial on January 21, 2025.

Rocky has reportedly pleaded not guilty against two charges on counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm stemming from a 2021 altercation with former friend Terell Ephron.
