Cruel Summer singer Taylor Swift has continued her streak of breaking records, with her latest achievement being the highest attendance ever at the Murrayfield Stadium. Swift began the U.K. leg of her Eras Tour in Edinburgh, where she had three consecutive shows slated from June 7, 2024, to June 9, 2024.
Taylor Swift took to Instagram on June 10, 2024, sharing a carousel of photos from the concert. In her caption, Swift expressed her awe at the response from Edinburgh, stating:
"Edinburgh!!! You truly blew me away this weekend. Thank you for breaking the all-time attendance record for a stadium show in Scotland 3 times in a row 🤯 and for all the ways you made us feel right at home. Love you, all 220,000 of you!!!"
According to Forever Edinburgh, the Murrayfield Stadium has a seating capacity of 67,144 and is the largest stadium in Scotland.

Apart from witnessing Taylor Swift perform live, fans of the Eras Tour look forward to the two surprise acoustic songs she performs at every concert. During the U.K. leg of her concert in Edinburgh, Swift performed her song Crazier on the piano, which was live-streamed on TikTok.
In addition to Crazier, Swift's surprise song segment at the concerts in Scotland consisted of songs like Would've, Could've, Should've, Daylight, Tis the Damn Season, The Bolter, and Dorothea, among others.
In a video of the concert shared on TikTok, captured during her performance at Murrayfield Stadium, Taylor Swift told the audience that Edinburgh has been "shockingly amazing." Addressing the crowd, the Bad Blood singer said:
"It's been shockingly amazing in Edinburgh because every night I got to go onstage and they pulled me aside and said, ‘You know this crowd broke the all-time stadium attendance record for all of Scotland for all of time.'"
Swift also shared that during the show on June 9, 2024 (Sunday), she thought it wasn't possible to fit more people into the stadium. However, the weekend show went on to become the "highest attended stadium show in Scotland," for which she thanked the audience.
In addition to having an enormous number of fans at her recent concert, Taylor Swift has broken multiple records in the music arena with 14 Grammy wins and more than 100 million monthly Spotify listeners as the highlights of her career.
The Enchanted singer became the most-streamed artist of the year on Spotify in 2023, and her Eras Tour has become the highest-grossing concert tour of all time. Additionally, Swift became the first female artist to replace herself at the No. 1 position on Billboard's Hot 100 list, where her song Black Space replaced Shake It Off in 2014.
In other news, Taylor Swift will be performing in Liverpool from June 13 to June 15, 2024. Liverpool's officials are temporarily naming it "Taylor Town" and working alongside local artists to include interactive exhibits in honor of the Anti-Hero singer's albums.
Following her shows in Liverpool and Cardiff, the Daylight singer will perform at Wembley Stadium, London, from June 21 to June 23, 2024.
