Recently, a claim emerged online that podcaster Joe Rogan revealed arrest warrants for seven celebrities linked to Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ongoing scandal. The rumor was first shared in the form of a video on YouTube, uploaded by the page Uncover Discovery on October 17, 2024.
“Joe Rogan Reveals ARREST Warrants for Hollywood Elites Involved with Diddy!” the post was captioned.
The video garnered severe traction and earned 1,279,564 views in less than a week alongside over 19,000 likes and 2,125 comments. Watch the video here.
However, the now-viral YouTube claim has turned out to be fake. Joe Rogan has never mentioned any arrest warrants for celebrities connected to Combs nor did the Uncover Discovery video substantiate the rumor.
Not only that but the page’s About section has the disclaimer, “We do not claim any information to be factual or verified, and the content should not be taken as professional advice.”
Joe Rogan has never revealed arrest warrants for any celebrity linked to Diddy
Last week, a video circulated on the internet, beginning with YouTube, that alleged that Joe Rogan, on his podcast The Joe Rogan Experience, revealed that at least seven A-listers reportedly linked to Diddy had arrest warrants out in their names. The 42-minute video first shared by the channel Uncover Discovery was headlined, "Breaking News: They Are Done Now!" alongside an image of Rogan and Jennifer Lopez in handcuffs being escorted by a federal agent.
However, nowhere did it verify or authenticate the claim.
Instead, the entire video had clips of Joe Rogan’s podcast where he discussed Diddy’s legal troubles as well as news clips based on the hip-hop mogul’s recent arrest, federal indictment, bail denial, arraignment, house raids, and more. Press conferences of Diddy’s attorneys, federal prosecutors, and lawyers of his accusers were also included alongside the rapper’s own past interviews. Clips of vocal Diddy critic and alleged whistleblower Jaguar Wright and his alleged victim Ally Carter were also included in the Uncover Discovery video rumor.
Moreover, the picture of handcuffed JLo on the cover of the video could be concluded as AI-generated. Thus, in the absence of concrete evidence that Joe Rogan revealed arrest warrants for multiple celebrities, the video claim can be debunked as fabricated and unfounded.
Also, the YouTube channel has clearly mentioned in its bio how the content is for “entertainment and informational purposes only” and must not be deemed as facts.
Additionally, there are no substantiated media or law enforcement reports of any arrest warrants issued against any celebrity allegedly connected to Sean Combs.
Moreover, since the hip-hop magnate's September 16 arrest, the Uncover Discovery channel has uploaded similar clickbait videos, including that Combs’ son and ex-girlfriend have testified against him and that he has escaped from federal detention – all of which have been debunked.
Notably, the YouTube channel Stardom Scoop also published a 21-minute video on October 13 which was captioned, “Judge Reveals ARREST Warrants for 7 Celebrities INVOLVED In Diddy’s Crimes.”
The in-video headline also had the words, “Exclusive: 7 Celebs Arrested!” It also had the pictures of Rick Ross, Jay-Z, Oprah, Ellen DeGeneres, Drake, Beyonce, and Will Smith on it.
Despite earning over 124,597 views in a week, this video too turned out to be fake. Nowhere did it substantiate that any celebrities were arrested in relation to the ongoing Sean Combs case.
Not only that but the video description had the disclaimer, “Information may be rumours, slander, exaggerated, or otherwise not the truth. Before making an opinion, viewers are recommended to conduct their own research. Content might be opinionated.”
Exploring what Joe Rogan once said about alleged Diddy associates
On March 25, 2024, Sean Combs’ houses in Miami and Los Angeles were raided by federal agents as part of a human/ s*x trafficking investigation by the Department of Homeland Security.
In the wake of this, on April 6, podcaster, actor, and talk show host Joe Rogan sat down with fellow comedian Andrew Schulz on his podcast The Joe Rogan Experience where they discussed the circulating conspiracy theory surrounding the raids.
The theory was that the feds raided the Love Album maker's properties to look for tapes and other potentially incriminating evidence against other powerful people from the music industry, Hollywood, politics, and more.
"Everybody's a conspiracy theorist now… Like, when the Feds rolled up with the f*cking Hummers and sh*t, they were like, it wasn't about Diddy. It was about if there were tapes of powerful people there. They were the ones that called, like, 'I need to protect myself, so go in there with all the things and rip any tapes or any evidence,'" Schulz explained.
He shared how it all began when Combs’ ex-girlfriend and R&B singer Cassie sued him in November 2023 followed by several others, which reportedly alerted other high-profile individuals who were seemingly involved in similar alleged illicit activities.
"Everybody hung with Diddy. That's the other tricky thing. Like, Diddy hung out with everybody. And I've spoken to a bunch of people who were like: 'Yo, great dude. Always there for you. Never asks for a single thing,'" Schulz added.
Joe Rogan agreed with his guest and shared how “Prince Harry hung out” with the Bad Boy Records founder, and quipped how Combs was likely a “good person” until midnight, following which his famous White parties seemingly converted to now-infamous alleged “freak-offs.”
A month before this episode, Joe Rogan also claimed that Diddy’s legal troubles may also be linked to the East Coast and West Coast hip-hop rivalry that has been going on for many years.
