Several rumors have started circulating since Taylor Swift endorsed Kamala Harris on her Instagram feed after the much-awaited presidential debate between Donald Trump and Harris. One such rumor, which went viral online, alleged that Kid Rock denied having her on stage.

According to this rumor, which seemingly surfaced on Facebook, Kid Rock reportedly told Taylor:

"Go home girl, your music is bubblegum."

However, the rumor is false and should be debunked. It has been found that the speculation initially appeared as a meme on SpaceX Fanclub's official Facebook page in July. This page is known for its satirical content.

Additionally, an article claiming that Kid Rock refused to perform with Swift was published by Esspots in May 2024. However, Esspots is also known for creating satirical and humorous content. In the article, the author wrote that Rock said:

"'We need more Toby Keiths and less Taylor Swifts,' [Kid Rock] declared, voicing his disdain for what he sees as a move away from the authentic spirit of country music."

Since the recently gone viral Facebook post is similar to the previous speculations made from satire pages, it is safe to conclude that the current post is fake as well.

Kid Rock didn't deny having Taylor Swift on stage

Although Kid Rock has not made any recent statements about Taylor Swift, he has criticized her in the past. Back in August 2019, Rock posted a tweet on X targeting Taylor. In the tweet, he wrote:

"Taylor Swift wants to be a democrat because she wants to be in movies... period. And it looks like she will suck the door knob off Hollyweird to get there. Oldest move in the book. Good luck girl."

While the singer's endorsement of Kamala Harris has gained significant traction, she is not the only major celebrity to back a candidate for the upcoming presidential elections.

Several personalities like Kid Rock, Elon Musk, and Hulk Hogan have been extremely vocal with their political inclination toward Trump. Meanwhile, celebrities like George Clooney, John Legend, Charli XCX, Ariana Grande, and Demi Lovato extended support to Kamala Harris.

Taylor's endorsement has sparked widespread discussion, and it even seemingly led to a reaction from Donald Trump. On Sunday, Trump shared a post on Truth Social, where he wrote:

"I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!"

Later, a few celebrities took to social media to support the pop star after Trump made such a remark. This included Flavor Flav and Mark Hamill.

Taylor Swift extends support to Kamala Harris

Donald Trump and Kamala Harris participated in their first presidential debate on September 10, 2024. Throughout the debate, the two candidates clashed over various issues, including foreign policies, abortion, and immigration.

After the debate, Taylor Swift took to Instagram to endorse Kamala Harris for the upcoming US presidential elections. The singer shared a picture of herself holding a cat, accompanied by a lengthy caption that read:

"I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos."

The upcoming presidential elections are expected to take place in November 2024.
