A so-called "official" list of party attendees for Sean "Diddy" Combs has gone viral on X following his arrest on sex trafficking charges. While many celebrities were rumored to attend his events, the document circulating online is not authentic.

Trigger Warning: The following article discusses s*x trafficking and s*xual assault. Reader’s discretion is advised.

X user @1mZerOCool took to the social networking site on October 3 and tweeted, “They finally dropped P Diddy list Enjoy because all of them are going to jail!" The document included the names of various celebrities and politicians.

It included Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Naomi Campbell, Mary J. Blige, Leonardo DiCaprio, Usher, Serena Williams, Jada Pinkett Smith, Oprah Winfrey, Lenny Kravitz, Post Malone, Snoop Dogg, Lewis Hamilton, Chris Rock, Dr. Dre, Gigi Hadid, Diplo, Offset, Saweetie, Prince Harry, Mark Wahlberg, Princess Beatrice of York, Princess Eugenie of York, Kamala Harris, Miguel, Normani, Rahm Emanual, John Kerry, and Deval Patrick, among others. The document included 107 names in total.

The tweet that included the document had amassed nearly three million views at the time of writing this article. Although the document looked realistic, it is worth noting that it is not authentic. An unidentified netizen has created a fake list.

The document consisting of party attendees of Diddy’s is not real

X’s Community Notes called the aforementioned tweet a “lie.” They also confirmed that an official list was not released by law enforcement or established news outlets. The Community Note read:

“This is a lie. There has been no “official” Diddy list to drop, nor will anyone here “listed” be going to jail. At most regarding a list, Tony Buzbe recently said some more powerful people could be revealed that are connected to this.”

Hence, it is safe to say that the list consisting of Diddy’s partygoers is not real.

The community note mentioned Tony Buzbee, a Houston lawyer representing 120 alleged victims of Combs, including 60 females and 60 males, with some victims as young as nine years old. He stated that his legal team would reveal the names of those involved in allowing the alleged assaults to happen "behind closed doors." He shared this information in a press statement.

"The day will come when we will name names, other than Sean Combs, and there's a lot of names. It's a long list already, but because of the nature of this case, we are going to make damn sure that we're right before we do that. But the names that we're going to name ... are names that will shock you.”

Diddy remains behind bars as he awaits his trial date and an alleged list of celebrities who attended his infamous “Freak Off” parties has gone viral. The list included Aaron Hall, Drake, Lil Rod, Yung Miami, Justin Bieber, and Russell Simmons, among others. The aforementioned celebrities were mentioned in the list as well.

For the unversed, the Freak Off parties were described as “gatherings where Diddy allegedly misused his power to lure victims into s*x acts with male commercial s*x workers” by the federal indictment against Combs.
