Billy Ray Cyrus is seeking to separate from Firerose less than a year after marriage as the country singer filed for divorce from his Australian wife. Court documents of the filing listed May 22, 2024, as the official date of separation, which also noted Cyrus seeking an annulment because of “fraud,” as reported by several publications. While the exact reasons for the divorce are unclear, Cyrus listed “inappropriate marital conduct” and “irreconcilable differences” in the docs.
The same docs detailed that Cyrus is willing to pay Firerose $500 per night for 10 nights of lodging after giving her an ultimatum to leave his residence by May 24. Afterward, the country singer has agreed to pay his soon-to-be ex-wife $5,000 per month to find a suitable home in middle Tennessee until their marriage is legally dissolved or for 90 days, whichever comes first.
Billy Ray Cyrus and Firerose tied the knot on October 10, 2023, two months after Cyrus’s former wife, Tish, got married to actor Dominic Purcell.
