Grande and Minaj created the track as part of her third studio album, Dangerous Woman. Debuting at No. 3 on the US Billboard Hot 100 soon after its release, Problem was released as the lead single from her sophomore album, My Everything. Featuring Iggy Azalea, the track is an R&B song with funk influences. In the words of the singer-actress, the song is "such an IDFAG song that makes everybody feel great."

Talking about the process behind the song in a 2014 Entertainment Weekly interview, Ariana confessed how the track felt "so different" from her. However, it was advice from her friend and rapper, Big Sean, that she decided to go with it.

"He was like, 'You've got a beautiful voice, but this is pop music—you gotta take a risk. You gotta let go and have fun.' So I did."

The music video of Problem has since amassed 1.4 billion views on YouTube, with more than 7 million likes.

Released as the second single of Ariana Grande's fifth studio album, 7 Rings was an instant success in popularity and sales. The track peaked at the US Billboard Hot 100 soon after its release, maintaining the top position for eight weeks. On YouTube, 7 Rings' music video amasses 1.4 billion views, with 16 million likes.

Discussing the backstory of 7 Rings in her 2018 Billboard Woman of the Year interview, Ariana revealed that it happened on a "challenging fall day" in New York, further narrating:

"Me and my friends went to Tiffany's together just because we needed some retail therapy. You know how when you're waiting at Tiffany's they give you lots of champagne? They got us very tipsy, so we bought seven engagement rings, and when I got back to the studio, I gave everybody a friendship ring."

4) Ariana Grande - no tears left to cry (2018)

The lead single of Ariana's fourth album, Sweetener, no tears left to cry is an uptempo dance-pop that held a special significance for her. The track was the first song the singer had written after the 2017 Manchester Arena bombing, which had left the singer-songwriter struggling with PTSD.

2018 was a tough year for Ariana Grande, who mourned the death of her ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller, earlier that year. She also ended her relationship with her fiance, Pete Davidson, by the end of 2018. Despite the tough circumstances surrounding the song's creation, no tears left to cry received critical acclaim and was No. 3 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

The music video also received 1.2 billion YouTube views, alongside 8.6 million likes.

5) Ariana Grande ft. Zedd - Break Free (2014)

The second single from Ariana's sophomore album, Break Free, is a collaborative work between her and the Russia-German music producer Zedd. Like the other tracks of the album - Problem and Bang Bang - it also entered the top 10 list of Billboard Hot 100, debuting at number four.

In a 2014 interview with TIME magazine, the singer-songwriter confessed to having reservations about the song's grammatically incorrect lyrics, saying:

"'I am not going to sing a grammatically incorrect lyric, help me, God!' Max was like, 'It's funny — just do it!' I know it's funny and silly, but grammatically incorrect things make me cringe sometimes."

The song's music video has since amassed 1.1 billion views on YouTube with over 6.2 million likes.

With all the tracks from Ari's latest album - Eternal Sunshine - already receiving views in millions, one of them might replace the top 5 from our list soon.
