Kendrick Lamar's career highlights
Kendrick Lamar's career took off with his second studio album, Good Kid, M.A.A.D City. Released through the labels Top Dawg Entertainment, Aftermath, and Interscope Records on October 22, 2012, the album charted at number 2 on the Billboard 200 album chart as well as multiple multi-platinum certificates.
The album was nominated for several awards as well, winning the Album of the Year award at the 2013 BET Hip Hop Awards.
Lamar's next career highlight was the release of his 2017 album, Damn.
