Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris' supporters broke the attendance record in the White Women: Answer the Call Zoom call, part of Haris' series of Zoom calls dedicated to white women, LGBTQ supporters, South Asian supporters, and more, on July 25, 2024, raising nearly 2 million dollars for her. The Zoom call event comprised the attendance of celebrities like Connie Britton, P!nk, and Mindy Kaling, among others.
The record-breaking number of participants of the Zoom call with 100,000+ people caused technical difficulties on the platform, leading some supporters to switch to a YouTube live stream.
Celebrities like Connie Britton, Pink, Carol Leif, and Katie McGrath joined the call, wherein P!nk joined the Zoom call right after her performance in Sweden. Mindy Kaling joined the South Asian call while Justin Tranter, Sophia Bush, Ashlyn Harris, Brian Michael Smith, George Takei, Raven Simone, and Zachary Quinto joined the LGBTQ call.
Jenifer Lewis and Yvette Nicole Brown joined the Black women's Zoom call, raising approximately $1.5 million for Harris.

Shortly after Joe Biden announced stepping down from the 2024 Presidential election, Zoom calls to raise funds for Kamala Harris started on July 21, 2024. According to The Wrap, over 44000 Black women joined the Black women's call, with such numbers being visible across the call for Black men, white women, South Asian supporters, and LGBTQ supporters. On July 22, 2024, 50,000 Black men, including Raphael Warnock, the senator of Georgia, raised $1.3 million for Kamala Harris' campaign.
It was KCET board member, comedian, and writer Carol Leif who started fundraising for the White Women: Answer the Call on July 25, 2024, as she pledged $50,000 for the fundraiser.
During the Zoom call for white women, American actress Connie Britton mentioned,
"When Biden stepped down from his run for president and endorsed Kamala Harris, the world blew up. Did you feel it? It was seismic, cosmic, even. It was, for sure, bigger than we are.”
P!nk joined the Zoom call within a few moments of finishing a concert in Sweden, wherein the local time was 3 a.m. The singer showcased her support for Kamala Harris and talked to the participants on the Zoom call, stating everyone is in this and that she is grateful that "women are going to have a voice."
"We’ve always made our voices heard, and now it’s time to just get extra loud. Let’s go. Let’s get loud.”
One speaker on Kamala Harris' White Women: Answer the Call Zoom call was anti-gun activist Shannon Watts. In her message, Watts told the attendees that they must vote as their safety and freedom depend on it.
According to Open Secrets, Harris raised more than $100 million within 36 hours of Joe Biden announcing his departure from the 2024 presidential election. As per information tweeted by her official handle, Harris raised $81 million in the first 24 hours with 62% first-time donors.
The Democratic Presidential candidate's team stated that the total funds raised for Harris include money raised from joint fundraising committees, the Democratic National Committee, and her campaign, representing the largest 24-hour total in U.S. history.
