(G)I-DLE’s 2024 ‘i-DOL’ world tour is scheduled to be held from August 3, 2024, to November 2, 2024, in venues across East and South East Asia, North America, and Australia. The tour will be followed by the release of the group's 7th mini-album in July.
The upcoming tour will feature performances in cities such as Hong Kong, Seoul, New York City, and Sydney, among others. The tour was originally announced by the group via a post on their official Twitter page on May 12, 2024.

Presale dates for the tour in the US will be available at 4:00 p.m. local time on June 20, 2024. Said presale can be accessed by registering for it via the official website of the group.
General tickets for the US dates will be available on June 21, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Tickets for the Korea dates are available from Melon Tickets and are priced at $112.12 (154,000 won) plus taxes. Tickets or presales for the other tour dates are yet to be announced.

As previously mentioned, aside from the tour, (G)I-DLE is set to release their latest EP/mini album, I Sway, on July 8, 2024. The EP will be the group's first new release since their second studio album, 2, which was released on January 29, 2024, via Cube Entertainment and Kakao Entertainment.
Last year, (G)I-DLE also released their debut English EP, Heat, on October 5, 2023. (G)I-DLE spoke about their English debut in an exclusive interview with Billboard Magazine on October 6, 2023, with member Minnie stating:
"It’s our debut EP in the U.S. so we’re super excited about this, and we just wrapped up our U.S. tour. Our fans have been so supportive, we think that it’s about time to give back and be more connected to them so we came up with this album Heat..."
Yuqi added:
"All the songs, you guys can have my word, it’s really, totally different styles we have never tried. I think it’s gonna be cool. I hope our fans can love it."
(G)I-DLE had their first prominent success with their debut studio album, I Never Die, released on March 14, 2022. The platinum-certified album charted at number 2 on the Korean album chart.
