“Got two kids with no baby daddy": DDG responds to TikToker's claim he "trapped" Halle Bailey with a child

On October 3, 2024, DDG announced his split from Halle Bailey. Since then, there has been a lot of speculation about their relationship. Recently, a TikTok creator called @frankie_aab made a video claiming that the rapper "trapped" Halle Bailey by starting a family with her and then splitting up.

Responding to the TikTok creator's claims, DDG took to Instagram Live on October 11, 2024, and mentioned:

"CPM's not that high for you to be on there talking for two minutes about me."

The rapper got personal with the TikTok creator and stated:

"You got two kids, I looked on your Instagram.... with no baby daddy. But you worry about me. Y'all need to stop. I be seeing what y'all be saying, bro."

DDG's response resulted in the TikTok creator calling him out again and she stated that she scrolled through Halle Bailey's Instagram account and found that the rapper wasn't on it anymore.

The TikTok creator also mentioned in her video:

"It's funny that you try to use me being a baby mama as an insult when you turned her into a baby mama your damn self."

Halle Bailey and DDG sparked dating rumours at an Usher concert in January 2022 and made their relationship publicly official in March 2022.

While the Impatient rapper's ex-girlfriend Rubi Rose stirred up cheating rumors in February 2023, both Halle and the rapper clarified against the rumors being true. On January 6, 2024, Halle Bailey took to Instagram to announce the birth of her son with the rapper and mentioned his name is Halo.

On October 3, 2024, DDG took to Instagram stories to announce to his "friends and supporters" that after heartfelt conversations and much reflection, he and Halle had decided to go their separate ways. He also mentioned:

“This decision was not easy, but we believe it’s the best path forward for both of us. I cherish the time we’ve spent together and the love we’ve shared.”

The rapper stated that despite the changes in their relationship, the two continue to share deep and true love and that they are still best friends who adore each other. Toward the end of the announcement, DDG stated:

"As we focus on our individual journeys and our roles as co-parents, we cherish the bond we've built and the beautiful moments we've shared. As we navigate this transition, we ask for your understanding and support."

While multiple publications like USA TODAY tried reaching out to Halle Bailey for a comment on the breakup, the actress hasn't responded to the same yet.
