Rapper Enchanting has passed away at the age of 26. Gucci Mane, who previously owned the record label 1017 Records, confirmed the same on Instagram. Notably, Enchanting was also a member of the label in the past and released a single titled No Luv.

In his latest social media, Gucci Mane added a photo of Enchanting and wrote:

"So sad to have to say R.I.P. to such a great young lady a true star we gone all miss you Chant @luvenchanting."

Enchanting exited the record label in 2023 and continued releasing independent projects. 1017 Records was formed back in 2007 by Mane, also known as Radric Delantic Davis. His latest album, Breath of Fresh Air, came out last year and his net worth currently stands at $14 million, as per Celebrity Net Worth.

Enchanting's sister revealed through Facebook on June 10 that she was on life support after rumors on social media that the rapper passed away. Enchanting was reportedly later taken off life support.

The artist's management team also spoke to The Shade Room that the artist had been allegedly dealing with the side effects of an overdose a few days prior to her death. The statement said:

"She came to my house the last four days to get clean. She tried her best and I did everything I could to help her, she tried."

Enchanting spent her early days in Germany where her father served in the armed forces. Her singles received positive feedback on various online platforms, including Spotify. She was additionally active on Instagram with around 1 million followers where she frequently posted photos posing in different backgrounds.

The Bessemer, Alabama native has managed to build a huge fanbase from his hit projects over the years. He collaborated with many popular faces in the hip-hop industry. As mentioned, he even launched a record label, 1017 Records, and all of these have contributed to his wealth throughout his career.

Gucci Mane, in his book titled The Autobiography of Gucci Mane, addressed that in his early life, he was involved in drug deals so that he could build a career in music. In an interview with NPR in 2017, Davis said:

"I think I was obsessed with money, definitely, coming up because I seen so many people not having money. I seen so many people staying in shotgun houses, or not really having good shoes on their feet. And I went to sleep hungry – I knew what it was like to be poor; I knew what it was like to have your lights off, or to have to boil water to take a bath."

Davis was also arrested back in 2001 on charges of drug possession and following his release, he decided to focus on rapping. His first album, Trap House, was released in 2005 and reached the top of the Billboard charts. The response was similar to his second album, Hard to Kill.

Gucci Mane continued to bring more albums in the next few years such as Back to the Trap House, The Return of Mr. Zone 6, Evil Genius, and Delusions of Grandeur. He has many mixtapes and EPs under his credits, including La Flare and Trap Tracular.

In his conversation with NPR, Davis recalled his musical career and how he decided to change his ways after the legal issue. He said:

"To be honest, once I got my first charge at like 20, 21, music was like: This is what I'm going to do. I don't want to sell drugs no more."
