Kendrick Lamar released the official music video for Not Like Us and the internet has gone wild for it. On Thursday, the fourth of July, Independence Day, Kendrick Lamar took to YouTube to drop his latest blow against Drake, a music video for his penultimate diss track against the First Person Shooter rapper.

Apart from his already vicious bars, Lamar also ensured to fill up the music videos with a plethora of shots against Drake. At one point in the video, the rapper beats up a piñata in the form of an owl, the OVO logo. In another instance, the rapper even takes to a playground to crip walk over a hopscotch field. The infamous bar preceding Kendrick Lamar playing hopscotch went:

"Tryna strike a chord and it's probably A-Minor."

Netizens found the clip incredible and commended Kendrick Lamar for the music video. Many thought that a lot of people missed the hopscotch part of the music video, which was already full of crazy moments. Here are a few X (formerly known as Twitter) reactions to Lamar playing hopscotch in the Not Like Us MV:

Kendrick Lamar went all in the music video for Not Like Us

Kendrick Lamar brought out the big guns to film his Not Like Us music video, directed by none other than himself and PGLang co-founder Dave Free. The producer of the track, DJ Mustard even made an appearance in the video, driving around with Lamar and having a meal.

Lamar's former California-based hip-hop supergroup Black Hippy consisting of Ab-Soul, Jay Rock, and ScHoolboy Q also made an appearance in the music video. The music video was a homecoming of sorts for Lamar, who filmed it in Compton along with a large crowd of people.

In the music video, Lamar could be seen snapping back at Drake with a direct reference to Drizzy's diss track Push-Ups by actually doing a couple of sets of push-ups between two cinder blocks in a room that looked like a prison. As "Wop, Wop, Wop, Wop, Wop" hit the rapper destroyed a piñata in the form of an owl. In this part of the video, a hilarious disclaimer appeared that read:

"No OVHoes were harmed during the making of this video."

Disproving all the allegations Drake leveled against Kendrick Lamar, his fiancée Whitney Alford, and their kids even made an appearance in the music video. To add insult to injury, Lamar and Alford blood walked to the track as Lamar rapped:

"The family matter and the truth of the matter, it was God’s plan to show y’all the liar."

The music video reached its end with Lamar staring at a barnyard owl locked behind a cage.

The music video, available to stream on YouTube, has already amassed a whopping 14 million views within 17 hours of its release.
