A few days after posting a photo carousel hinting at dropping new music, Drake uploaded photos in a fur coat on Instagram on December 25, 2024. In the latest carousel of four photos, the rapper is seen sporting a huge fur coat in some photos, and a jacket with a mask covering his face in others.
The caption of Drizzy's Christmas post read:
"Used to look up to some people then I hit a growth spurt…$$$🎁"
Fans of the rapper were quick to take to social media platforms like X to comment on Drizzy's fur coat pictures wherein most of them complimented his style. An X user tweeted:

In addition to posting fur coat pictures on Christmas, Drizzy announced the biggest streaming giveaway on Kick via an Instagram post on December 24, 2024. In a clip promoting the giveaway, the rapper recalled shooting for the God's Plan video released in February 2018.
Talking about the music video in relation to the best day of his life, Drake said:
“People often ask me what was the best day of my life. And there’s so many memories with family, album releases, shows [and] fans showing a deep appreciation for the craft. But my answer is the same every time. The two days that I shot ‘God’s Plan’ were the best days of my life.”
The rapper continued:
"The joy that I experienced on those days, making other people happy, you know, changing their week, or their month or their year was an irreplaceable feeling. And that’s why, this Dec. 26, Stake, along with me and Adin Ross, are doing the biggest streaming giveaway of all time.”
Currently at 1.6 billion views, Drake's God's Plan video was shot in Miami. The introduction of the song displays a message reading that the budget for the music video was $996,631.90, and that they gave it all away, adding "Don’t tell the label…”
According to a report by Variety dated February 16, 2018, throughout the God's Plan video, Drizzy can be seen handing out a $50,000 scholarship to a student from the University of Miami, $25000 to after-school programs, $50,000 each to a youth center and a women's shelter, $10,000 to University of Miami's school of music, and $20,000 to the Miami Fire Department.
The rapper also donated new cars to some Miami families and handed out cash to a few mothers and children.
In other news, Drizzy has announced his The Anita Max Win Tour across Australia and New Zealand. The tour marks Drake's return to Australia after 2017 and will begin in Melbourne on February 9, 2025. The tour is scheduled to end in Auckland on March 1, 2025.
