Rapper ScHoolboy Q had to postpone his show in Chicago due to the recent Microsoft crash. The rapper, a former member of the California-based hip-hop supergroup Black Hippy, was all set to perform in Chicago, Illinois on Saturday, July 20. However, his show was canceled due to the Microsoft outage that affected airlines worldwide.

The rapper took to X to voice his displeasure at the concert's cancellation. Right after the tweet noting "CHicago 2morrow 🔵", the rapper released a tweet that simply said "BraH 🤦🏾‍♂️" seemingly in response to the concert's cancelation. The tweet went viral, amassing over 1.3 million views.

The show was postponed to Tuesday, July 23.

The aforementioned cancelation only added to the rapper's woes, who already had his Thursday, July 18 concert in Toronto canceled. The opening act for the rapper's show, Devin Malik, took to Instagram to detail why the Chicago show was canceled. He explained:

"No plane in cali could get us to chicago in time forced us to move it a couple days up. See yall there."

When Q's Toronto show was canceled, the rapper took to X to joke about how police from Drake's home turf in Canada did not want anyone from TDE to perform there due to their bond with Kendrick Lamar. Lamar's diss track war against Drizzy saw the rapper's penultimate track Not Like Us arguably become the summer's biggest hip-hop hit.

ScHoolboy Q was also featured in the music video for Not Like Us. Therefore, social media users were quick to troll ScHoolboy Q by joking about whether the rapper thought Drizzy was responsible for the Chicago show too. Here are a few X reactions in this regard:

"What Drake do now," asked one X user.
"What you crying about now man," added another user.
"This must be Chief Keef and Durk's fault, right?" joked a third user.
"Drake got reach across the border as well. Bro is really just bullying you every where you go," thought one X user.

A few other users sympathized with Q and agreed that the rapper was not having a good week.

"Bros having the worst week 😓", noted one X user.
"i’m gonna be out of town on tuesday 😭😭 bro I BOUGHT THE TICKETS IN APRIL IVE BEEN WAITING. WHY !!!!!!! WHY", another user wept.
"I know dawg. We was supposed to be there tonight but s**t..it is what it is", noted one disappointed user.
"Lmfao it’s all good mane. s**t happens. 🤝🏽 see you Tues.", said yet another user.

ScHoolboy Q's Toronto concert was also canceled

This is not the first ScHoolboy Q show that was canceled in the very same week. A few days ago, the rapper's July 18 sold-out show gig at the music venue, History, in Toronto was canceled.

The rapper announced the cancellation on X at the very last moment and seemingly referenced his friend Kendrick Lamar and Passionfruit rapper Drake's beef as the reason. He wrote:

"THey just cancelled my sHow in TORONTO 😂… CANADIAN POLICE DONT WANT NOBODY FROM TDE PERFORMING.."

Top Dawg Entertainment was the music label that Kendrick Lamar was signed to from 2005 to 2022, and ScHoolboy Q is currently signed to the samw.

It is also to be noted that the Toronto music venue, History is a collaboration between Drake and Live Nation.

The rapper followed up the tweet with another one referencing OVO rapper Partynextdoor getting to perform at the same time at another venue. A few people perceived the tweet as a threat. He wrote:

"TOP was just wit Wayne & Baby smH partynextdoor just Had a sHow @ tHe palladium 🤦🏾‍♂️ if we wanted to get yall we would’ve just did it.. now wHen sumbody get Hurt don’t cry…"

In the very next tweet, ScHoolboy Q did a retake and talked about finding the situation hilarious. He also mentioned that he did not know why Kendrick put him in the Not Like Us music video.

Q later released another tweet clarifying his earlier one and claimed that he did not intend to threaten. He wrote:

"I neva said “ ima kill sumbody” im saying if we wanted to crack it off we could’ve smH. Rap and move on playin tuff gon get sumbody Hurt it’s all good 😂 ima soccer dad."

ScHoolboy Q later apologized to the people who took his tweet as a threat and not "advice".
