Sean “Diddy” Combs formed the hip-hop group Da Band in 2002 which was disbanded two years later. One of its former members Freddrick “Freddy P” Watson sat down with The Art of Dialogue on October 28 and got candid about Diddy’s ongoing legal troubles and piling allegations against him.

In this context, Freddy P also discussed Combs’ kids and claimed they all lived in constant fear, didn’t know “what to do with him or without him” and urged them to “open your f*cking eyes.”

Later, he called out Quincy, Diddy’s adopted son, and alleged how he didn’t share a proper rapport with his biological father, Al B. Sure! Freddy P even claimed that Quincy and Combs shared an inappropriate relationship.

“I am pretty sure Quincy, I ain’t, God forgive me, ain’t saying it’s true, he looks like a guy that been touched, man. You don’t even love your own father like that, and you on Instagram rooting for this man?” the ex-Da Band member alleged.

For those unaware, Quincy was born to late model and actress Kim Porter and her former partner, singer, songwriter, radio host, and record producer/ executive Al B. Sure! in June 1991 in New York City.

Later, when his parents split, Porter began a relationship with Diddy in 1994, when the latter adopted him and later raised Quincy as his own son.

Exploring Freddy P’s latest remarks on Quincy and Diddy’s relationship

Sean Combs is a father of seven, including sons Quincy, Justin, and Christian, and daughters Chance, Jessie, D’Lila, and Love. Out of all his kids, he shared Quincy, Christian, and twins Jessie and D’Lila with his former girlfriend Kim Porter who died from lobar pneumonia in November 2018.

Recently, Diddy’s former associate Freddy P appeared for an interview with The Art of Dialogue where he opened up about Diddy’s relationship with his children.

He pointed out how “if my mom gone, of course, I’m going [to] stick by my dad,” which is what Combs and Kim’s children were doing, however, according to Freddy P, they chose to ignore all of the allegations against him, which was unusual.

Subsequently, the former Da Band member insinuated Diddy and Quincy were more like “lovers,” and less like father-son, adding that the latter didn’t share a normal relationship with his own father.

“You don’t even love your own f*cking father like that… and if it wasn’t for your father, you won’t even know this man. So, that’s more of a… it’s just like some sh*t that lovers would do. Opposed to a father? Like that ain’t your real father,” Freddy P called out Quincy.

The Florida emcee alleged that Combs’ kids weren’t really following their “heart” and were more acting in “fear” of him when they were showing support for him on social media.

Elsewhere during the conversation, Freddy P shared Diddy allegedly victimized a lot of people who would be happy to see him behind bars for years. However, he wouldn’t want Combs to go away for life, rather for him to find his remorse for his alleged wrongdoings.

The former Diddy associate also shared how Diddy was reportedly involved in Kim Porter, Biggie, and Tupac’s deaths, adding that the Bad Boy Records founder allegedly attempted to take away Jamie Foxx’s life too.

Notably, this is not the first time Freddy P has opened up about his former mentor. Last month, he sat down with The Art of Dialogue and shared his experience of working under Combs.

He claimed that the Love Album maker threatened to allegedly harm him, his family, and his neighborhood, which eventually “silenced” him and compelled him to part ways.

The Miami rapper also alleged that he reportedly saw Diddy ‘preying” on young and vulnerable men, especially the ones with money problems. Freddy P also called Combs’ arrest “love overdue” which according to him was a result of his inability to “live his truth.”

Meanwhile, during his September 2024 appearance at Angela Yee’s Lip Service podcast, Quincy shared how his previously strained relationship with biological father Al B. Sure! had now slowly developed into a “cool” friendship, adding they were like “homies” now who were getting to know each other as “two grown men.”

Likewise, following Combs' arrest, indictment, and rising number of lawsuits, Quincy along with his siblings issued a joint statement on Instagram earlier this month.

“We stand united, supporting you every step of the way. We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family. WE MISS YOU & LOVE YOU DAD,” the post read.

The Instagram post, which contained a picture of Combs with his children, also shared how the “past month” had left their family “devastated,” adding that the world was judging their father “based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false narratives,” which further fuelled on social media platforms.
