On October 30, a video surfaced online revealing OTF Jam reportedly wearing a wire around Lil Durk. The clip showed Durk, Jam, and a few other men in a dimly lit room, seemingly talking to another group of people over the phone.

While the Remember My Name rapper and others appeared to be having a good time, OTF Jam seemed to be uncomfortable. The video comes amid the rumor that the latter allegedly “snitched” on the former.

For the unversed, Lil Durk was arrested in Florida on October 24 for allegedly planning a hit on Quando Rondo in 2022.

In the wake of the now-viral leaked footage of OTF Jam purportedly wearing a wire around Lil Durk, netizens are having varied reactions. For instance, an Instagram user commented on @sturdylives’ post with the same clip.

“He was nervous af when dude had his arm around him,” the user wrote.

Many joined the conversation and shared similar reactions on the social media platform X.

“Ohhhh yeaaa he acting funny funny,” a user wrote.
“Damn they must be can’t read body language because he moving hella weird,” one X user commented.
“His vibe was off the whole time!! Gotta watch them nonchalant mfers,” wrote another.

Others pointed out that if OTF Jam actually wore a wire, it must have been for a lengthy time period for the feds to make a case against Lil Durk, while some disagreed with the allegations.

“Been wearing a wire for Lil Durk’s entire career,” a netizen wrote.
“It’s crazy how OTF Jam wakes up every morning wearing a wire like it was some cologne. The commitment and dedication for 12 freaking years is wild,” another netizen commented.
“They snitched on themselves once they went live. Leave OTF Jam alone!” a fan stated.
"There hasn’t been one legitimate source that said he wore a wire or that he’s the one who snitched. It’s not in any indictment or on any official document. Y’all let these bloggers and podcasters gas y’all into fictitious narratives. Do better my guy," wrote another.

DJ Akademiks, Wack 100, and others speculated that OTF Jam wore a wire around Lil Durk

OTF Jam, whose real name is Kacey Hester, is a member of Lil Durk’s Only the Family (OTF) record label. In 2010, Jam was convicted of attempted murder and served 12 years in prison, eventually getting released in February 2022.

On October 24, 2024, Lil Durk was arrested by U.S. Marshals from South Florida after a federal indictment was unsealed in a Los Angeles court, charging him with a "murder-for-hire" plot against Quando Rondo in August 2022 in LA, which ended up killing Rondo’s cousin and close friend Saviay’a Robinson, aka Lul Pab. Reportedly, it was a retaliation for Durk’s associate King Von’s November 2020 killing.

Following Durk’s arrest, rumors arose that OTF Jam “snitched” on Lil Durk and other OTF members, after court documents suggested that a member of the collective worked as a federal informant for years. In the wake of this, internet personality DJ Akademiks took to social media to suggest the same regarding OTF Jam, as he wrote in his Instagram caption:

"He [OTF Jam] reportedly served a 12-year sentence in prison and came home and then got booked shortly on a gun right after allegedly Durk gave him $50k as a coming home gift."

Likewise, music manager and hip-hop commentator/podcaster Wack 100 made similar claims to DJ Vlad, during an October 27 interview on VLADTV. Wack explained that spending a dozen years in prison didn’t make OTF Jam “rat” on Lil Durk, but it was rather a second “gun charge” after his release.

"He [OTF Jam] did 12 years, got out, interviewed, said he kept it real, brought him cars, gave him 50,000. Made mention that ain’t no smudge on his name, he ain’t never been a rat, caught a gun case, but eventually, he flipped," Wack 100 noted.

However, neither the criminal complaint against Durk nor his indictment mentions OTF Jam by name. No direct connection between the former’s arrest and the latter has been found either.

So far, Jam or his legal team have not addressed the rumors.
