Future & Metro Boomin performed at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, on Thursday (August 15). During their performance, the duo brought out Travis Scott for a spell. This was the singer's first new live performance since the wrapping of his latest Circus Maximus tour leg.

The singer's appearance at the performance of Future and Metro Boomin brought out reactions from fans on social media, as exemplified by the tweet below:

Other reactions all noted the depth of the crowd's positive response to the performance as well as the intensity and passion brought to the performance by the singer:

"Wow not a phone in sight. Just everyone enjoying the moment…" one netizen noted.
"When Future and Metro Boomin said they were bringing the heat, I didn’t know they meant actual fire—Travis Scott just turned Brooklyn into a meltdown zone!", another netizen reacted.
"Carti ain’t even there yet everyone gets turnt to his verse, that’s his u know they’re all goats for making this song.", a commentor reacted.

Some, however, contradicted the observations made by other netizens regarding the concert attendees' positive response, instead calling the said response lukewarm or flat:

"why every vid i seen from this tour the crowd has been lame af. not even travis could save the show. this is a good angle tho ngl" a fan stated.
"f**k off he skipped WTFYM and throwaway in toronto and also didn’t play the like that kendrick verse only to do this when IM DESPERATELY WAITING FOR TRAVIS TO TOUR AGAIN IN CANADA" another fan reacted.

Travis Scott collaborated with Future & Metro Boomin on single

Travis Scott collaborated with Future & Metro Boomin on the single Type Shit, which was released as part of the duo's album We Don't Trust You. The single peaked at the second spot on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.

Travis Scott is next scheduled to embark on the latest leg of his Circus Maximus tour, taking it across Latin America and Oceania, among other places. The dates and venues of these upcoming tour shows are as follows:

  • September 9, 2024 – Buenos Aires, Argentina at Movie Star Arena
  • September 11, 2024 – São Paulo, Brazil at Allianz Parque Stadium
  • September 13, 2024 – Rio De Janeiro, Brazil at Rock N Rio
  • September 15, 2024 – Bogota, Colombia at Coliseo Live
  • September 18, 2024 – San Juan, Puerto Rico at Coliseo de Puerto Rico
  • September 21, 2024 – Mexico City, México at Esplanade Estadio Azteca
  • October 9, 2024 – East Rutherford, New Jersey at MetLife Stadium
  • October 17, 2024 – Sydney, Australia at Allianz Stadium
  • October 22, 2024 – Melbourne, Australia at Marvel Stadium
  • October 26, 2024 – Brisbane, Australia at Suncorp Stadium
  • October 31, 2024 – Auckland, New Zealand at Eden Park

The tour is currently set to wrap with the Auckland show, with the singer then heading back to the US to perform at the Complexcion in Las Vegas, Nevada, on November 16, 2024 and November 17, 2024.

Alongside his collaborations with Future and Metro Boomin, the singer also recently collaborated with Mustard on the single Parking Lot as well as with Ice Spice on Oh Shhh... and with Asake on Active.
