Rapper, DJ, and record producer Lord Jamar sat down with The Art of Dialogue and opened up about Diddy’s ongoing legal troubles. In the interview uploaded on YouTube on November 8, he shared how he didn’t want to see Sean Combs lose his life in prison like late financier and convicted s*x offender Jeffrey Epstein, who died from an apparent suicide in 2019.
“I don’t know what’s gonna happen. I feel like a lot of people is like kind of waiting for some Epstein sh*t to happen. I hate to say it but I feel people wouldn’t be surprised if one of these days we heard some sh*t happened… and they found him Epstein style,” Lord Jamar shared.
He further continued:
“I hope that does not happen, ‘cause you know… there’s certain sh*t I don’t like about him, but at the same time you know he was from around the way… he still is a Black man and I don’t want to, you know? He’s just a human being. Like I don’t want to see somebody lose their life over this dumb sh*t.”
Lord Jamar also shared his opinions on Diddy facing multiple s*xual assault lawsuits in the wake of his arrest, including from people who have accused him of exploiting them as minors.
Exploring Lord Jamar’s latest comments on Diddy
During his recent conversation with The Art of Dialogue, Lord Jamar shared that he was afraid Diddy might do something to himself in prison while waiting for his trial to begin. He claimed that at the “back of people’s minds” they were all thinking about it, but were too “scared” to say it out loud like him.
However, he shared how he didn’t want Sean Combs to meet with such a consequence as Jeffrey Epstein. Lord Jamar also showed concern for the Bad Boy Records owner’s well-being as a fellow human and an African-American man, stating how he still had a life ahead of him.
Elsewhere, the Brand Nubian founding member shared that the lawsuits against Diddy were “piling on” because most accusers were looking for a “payday.”
“They're just trying to get a payday and just see 'hey let me run it up the flag pole and see if it flies,' which is not cool for the real victims and sh*t like that. It muddies… the waters. Um, but you know what? As a tactic, it would almost be smart, right? … To send a bunch of fake people in with cases. Like if you were Diddy, to try to discredit the real ones,” he stated.
He also called the plot “super diabolical” yet “risky” at the same time. Lord Jamar further shared how Diddy was not the “inventor” of the “foul” things he is being accused of, and there were people “bigger than him” around.
As for the alleged Diddy tapes, Lord Jamar said he was not sure who the rumored male A-lister could be. However, he admitted to having heard a “horrible” audio of Combs with someone having a similar voice to Puerto Rican rapper-singer Bad Bunny, calling it “worse” than the one with Meek Mill.
However, he warned that in this “age of AI,” nobody can be certain of “what’s real and what’s fake,” and that it is kind of a “slippery slope.” Jamar added that whoever was behind this whole thing was trying to “create confusion” and do the “devil’s job.”
Former celebrity bodyguard Big Homie .CC also compared Diddy's case to Epstein's
Notably, former celebrity bodyguard Big Homie .CC also compared Diddy and Epstein’s cases, during his October 21 appearance on Cam Capone News.
"If Epstein could not make it out alive, how could this dude make it out alive?... What was the fallout of Epstein dying? None of the names came out,” Homie shared.
He also claimed that Diddy’s “backup plans” to keep himself “alive” were limited, as he was locked up in a federal prison.
Sean Combs is currently being held without bond at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) awaiting trial on May 5, 2025. He is facing charges of racketeering conspiracy, s*x trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
Initially after his September 16 arrest and grand jury indictment, Diddy was placed on a procedural suicide watch, as he was in a state of shock and his actions and behavior were unpredictable. However, last month, he was removed from the watch and was visited by his family in the prison.
His attorneys even told the press that he was “focused” and “strong,” as well as “concentrating on his defense” and “preparing for his trial.” Notably, Jeffrey Epstein reportedly hung himself in his jail cell at MDC in August 2019, after being removed from a suicide watch.
