Singer-songwriter Jaguar Wright, a longtime critic of Sean “Diddy” Combs, recently sat down for an interview with English media personality, Piers Morgan, and got candid about the rapper’s ongoing legal troubles. Wright mentioned how Diddy is “one of the most dangerous people” she’s ever met and called him the “devil.”
“He’s been the devil for 30 years. He’s been covered and protected by not only Clive Davis but Lucian Grainge. He was selected to be the demon that he is. To keep the culture in line so the industry can continue to rip it,” she claimed.
The 47-year-old alleged that Clive Davis has been Diddy’s “greatest teacher” and reportedly pushed him towards alleged criminal activities, adding that Diddy was “designed” to be who he is. According to Jaguar Wright, the only way to stop or fix the ongoing scandal was to “go back” and figure out the root causes and identify all of those involved, not just Sean Combs.
Notably, Jaguar Wright is not the first person to claim Clive Davis made Diddy into who he is. Earlier, during an interview with News Nation from prison, former record executive Suge Knight also named Davis alongside Andre Harrell and Russell Simmons as the men who "abused" Diddy, and in turn made him "prey" on others.
Exploring in detail Jaguar Wright’s recent remarks about Diddy
Jaguar Wright appeared on Piers Morgan’s syndicated YouTube talk show Piers Morgan Uncensored on October 3 alongside VladTV host DJ Vlad and attorney Ariel Mitchell-Kidd who’s representing one of Diddy’s accusers.
Jaguar began by saying that for “four years” she had been “screaming” that not only Diddy but Jay-Z are “monsters,” but nobody paid her heed, until the former’s recent arrest and federal indictment. She called out the Roc Nation founder for his silence in the Diddy scandal and alleged that he was avoiding accountability.
“That’s what he does. He starts little fires everywhere, forces everyone involved to carry water while he sneaks away without a response. That changes now, Shawn [Jay-Z’s real name]. You must respond,” Wright shared.
She also went on to claim that Diddy is connected to other convicted s*x offenders such as former film producer Harvey Weinstein, financier Jeffery Epstein, as well as former singer, songwriter, and record producer R. Kelly, adding they all have Jay-Z in common.
“This has been a fist of tyranny punching through our culture and society for decades. It must stop,” Jaguar Wright added.
When asked why she doesn’t have any picture with Sean Combs despite being one of the whistleblowers, the Okayplayer member said that she knew better not to get clicked with the “devil.” Jaguar Wright alleged that the likes of British record executive and CEO and Chairman of Universal Music Group Lucian Grainge, and American record executive and former RCA Music Group CEO Clive Davis have trained the Love Album creator.
“It’s been going on for years… before Diddy. See, people keep looking at him like he’s a sputnik, who came out of nowhere. But it is someone who was designed to be what he is. We gotta stop making Diddys. And if we’re gonna do that, we gotta go back… even further… Because Diddy was taught how to do what he does, systematically, and Clive Davis has been his greatest teacher,” the Free singer claimed.
Jaguar Wright mentioned how Combs has long been protected by Davis and Grainge, who chose him to be the “demon” so that they all could allegedly exploit the culture and the industry, adding, “We have too many lost. The list of lost is ridiculous. And everyone knows Diddy was selected for this job. He's the Judas.”
Elsewhere, she mentioned how she would hope that not just the Bad Boy Records mogul but all his “cohorts” are held accountable “publicly and legally,” as otherwise none of the victims were “safe.” Jaguar also went on to claim that she herself was one and lived with PTSD until today.
Notably, Wright has been a vocal critic of Sean Combs over the years and made headlines in 2022 after she called him a “s*x trafficker” and mentioned attending several of his infamous parties.
Meanwhile, fellow guest DJ Vlad expressed doubt about Jaguar Wright’s credibility and shared how he wouldn’t “cosign” anything she said, alleging that most of the stuff she mentioned was either made up or “heard.” He further called her a known “conspiracy theorist” and said that’s why he never called her on his own show nor has he any plans of doing it in the future.
DJ Vlad also explained how attending Diddy’s parties didn’t mean much as the majority of the industry was present there, and it only mattered if they were part of “the party within the party,” which had an exclusive guest list.
