On Thursday, October 24, Lil Durk was arrested on charges of murder-for-hire in Broward County, Florida. According to BBC, the rapper is currently held in prison without bail in connection with the 2022 shooting, in which Quando Rondo's cousin was killed.
After Durk's arrest, Rondo uploaded an Instagram post on Sunday, October 27, where he talked about forgiveness, saying:
"We've already lost so much, and it's heavy on my heart to forgive anyone I had issues with in the past. Praying for everyone"
While Rondo's post was a promotional one, in support of his recently released track, Life Goes On, fans speculated that it was a message associated with Lil Durk's arrest.
The beef between Lil Durk and Quando Rondo was initiated in November 2020, at a shooting incident that led to the death of King Von - Durk's close friend. The artists have been at odds ever since.
As the Pelle Goat rapper's involvement in the murder of Quando Rondo's cousin comes to light, here's a look at the history between the rappers.

Roughly six months after the shooting incident that led to King Von's death, Quando Rondo spoke to Angela Yee about it in an interview.
According to Complex, the Imperfect Flower rapper confessed he had been sleeping in his car before the shooting happened, adding:
"In my mind, I’m just thinking regular, in reality like you would think. I’m about to let these people walk past me. I’m not about to try and go through these people or nothing like that."
Rondo continued:
"I’m thinking these were some regular individuals. … So I’m letting this group come by. Next thing you know, a n***a hit me. Boom bow. I lie to you not. It’s like I had an out-of-body experience."

May 2023: Quando Rondo dissed Lil Durk in an Off The Porch interview
While Quando Rondo is now coming to terms with his faith and seeking to walk a different path, the rapper had a long-standing beef with both Lil Durk and King Von.
Last year, when the Cream Soda rapper was invited to talk with the Dirty Glove Bastard in the Off The Porch series on May 25, he spoke of Durk:
"We blessed, we angels. But, on God … I ain’t tryna die for Durk. I’m not! I’mma keep it real!"
However, when the subject of Lul Tim was brought up, the rapper seemed to have the opposite feelings, saying:
"I’d die for this man, though... N***a, if I knew, I’d lay down my life and die for this man. Slit throat. Right now, on God. Because I know — I know — he’d do the same for me. Sh*t, he almost did. I take that sh*t to heart."
Lul Tim was sitting next to Rondo in the interview. He also happened to be the alleged culprit behind the Pelle Coat rapper's close friend and collaborator - King Von's death in 2020.

Before Durk's arrest, Quando Rondo opened up about being a practicing Muslim in a video. The video surfaced on Instagram on September 11, in which Rondo was asked by a Muslim advisor to bury the hatchet with the 3 Headed Goat rapper, who was another practicing Muslim.
Reluctantly, Quando Rondo seemed to agree with the advisor, ultimately saying:
"I love a lot of brothers for the sake of Allah."
The Dope Boy Dreams rapper received cheers from his friends for his willingness to squash all old feuds, especially the one with Lil Durk, with whom he shares a long history of beef.
Lil Durk's arrest on Thursday came a day after five people from the rapper's group, Only The Family, were arrested in connection to the case.
