In 2021, Grande's Positions - a track from her sixth namesake studio album, broke the world record of Most songs to debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. The record is even more remarkable is that Grande was the only artist in the music industry to have won it.

Grande won another world record for the same album. Three of its tracks - 7 Rings, Break up with Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored, and Thank U, Next - peaked at no. 1,2, and 3 on the US Billboard Hot 100 respectively in February 2019. For these, We Can't Be Friends singer broke the record of the First solo act to occupy the top 3 positions simultaneously on the US singles chart. Before Grande, The Beatles were the only ones to hold this record for the UK singles chart.

The album's popularity within the US won yet another world record for Grande - that of the Most streamed pop album in one week (US). Before her, Ed Sheeran's album - Divide - held the record.

Grande's 7 Rings spent three weeks on UK Official Singles chart as no.1, after which the position was replaced by another one of her tracks - Break up with Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored - which led to the singer-songwriter winning the world record for the First solo artist to replace themselves at No.1 on UK Singles chart for two consecutive weeks in the chart's history of 66 years.

In 2020, Ariana Grande also broke the world record for Most monthly listeners on Spotify for a female artist, with 76,729,036 monthly listeners on the streaming platform.
