Multi-Grammy-winning singer Marc Anthony's Dominican Republic residence caught fire on Thursday, August 8, with local news cameras catching the orange flames and clouds of dark smoke. According to the news clip posted on the Instagram account of a Latin American news outlet El Gordo y La Flaca, firefighters successfully put out the fire.

The reason for the massive fire breakout remains unknown, but reports noted that the bungalows slash guest house on the left side of the 10,000-square-foot-property were the ones that burst into flames. The El Oasis main house was unaffected. Marc Anthony's representative confirmed to the same publication that he, his wife, Nadia Ferreira, and their 1-year-old son were not inside the resort villa during the fire.

Marc Anthony is a father to seven kids. In addition to his and Ferreira's son, he has six other kids from previous relationships, including the twins he shares with his former wife, Jennifer Lopez.

All about Marc Anthony's family

The Vivir Mi Vida's singer has a large, blended family, and he famously once said that he would have loved being a "stay-at-home dad" to his children. He told CBS' Sunday Morning in April 2016:

"The one regret would be that what I chose to do took so much of my time... What I would have done to have been a stay-at-home dad, and you know, witnessed every second of everything. I would have loved that."

Marc Anthony has seven children with his current wife and previous relationships. The oldest of the singer's kids are the two he shares with former American police officer and ex-girlfriend, Debbie Rosado. They dated back in the 90s and were blessed with a daughter, Arianna, in June 1994. She is 30 years old now.

The ex-couple welcomed their second child, a son named Chase, now 28, the following year. The two, however, keep their private life away from the public eye.

The Flor Palida artist also has two kids with his first wife, Dayanara Torres, a Puerto Rican actress and the 1993 Miss Universe. They were blissfully married in the 2000s before calling it quits in 2004. They welcomed their son Christian Marcus, 23, in February 2001 and Ryan, now 20, a year before they divorced.

Christian graduated from Parsons School of Design in May 2023, and like a proud father, Marc Anthony shared a video of his son showing off his diploma on Instagram, saying:

"I love my kids to the moon and back and we get to celebrate you today."

In the singer's most publicized relationship with his ex Jennifer Lopez, they welcomed their twins, Emme Maribel and Maximilian David (now 16), in February 2008. Like her father and mother, Emme has a passion for singing and performing onstage. In support of his daughter's love for singing, Anthony told Apple Music in June 2019:

"Music was a big part of my life growing up and I hope it does the same for [Emme] as it has done for me... And if that is what she wants to do, well, she should do it because she likes it, not because she has to."

Emme has already made her show debut. In 2020, she joined her mom onstage during the halftime show at the Super Bowl. Meanwhile, Lopez told the Latin Times during her November 2015 interview that Max is a "mini Marc." The 16-year-old made her acting debut in his mom's movie Marry Me (2022).

Lastly, Marc Anthony shares the youngest child with his current wife, Nadia Ferreira (Miss Universe Paraguay 2021). The Grammy-winning global music star and the Paraguayan model tied the knot in January 2023, a year after they confirmed their relationship via an Instagram selfie. Four months later in June, they welcomed their son, Marco, although they didn't reveal their baby's name until his first birthday last June.
