Rickey Smiley recently shared on the Smitty & Dee podcast that he is the father of twin daughters, a clip of which went viral on January 3, 2025. An anonymous man has since claimed he believed he was the twins' father and alleged that Smiley was in a relationship with their mother when she was a minor.

While the man's identity remains unknown, the Instagram page of Its Onsite shared a few stories shared by him, where one of them stated:

"Rickey full of sh*t!!! For five years, he and that chick knew I wasn't the father the whole time! They lied!"

Rickey Smiley said in the podcast that he found out about his daughters almost a year after the death of his son Brandon. He further stated:

"I got a phone call from an ex-girlfriend. She went to court and found that those identical twin daughters were not her ex-boyfriend's. The whole time, they're my biological daughters."

Apart from Brandon, the comedian has four more children, including D'Essence Elizabeth Smiley, Malik Smiley, Aaryn Smiley, and Craig Smiley, as per Legit. While Craig was adopted by Rickey, the other four were born from Rickey's marriage to Brenda Morris. However, detailed information on the duo's relationship remains unknown.

While Rickey Smiley's claims about having two daughters started making rounds on the internet, another video was obtained by Its Onsite, which featured a man addressing Ricky's alleged relationship with the mother of his daughters.

He referred to Ricky Smiley's comments on the podcast by saying:

"Watching that video is so disgusting, it's wicked. And it triggered me man. Like I'd never get over that situation for five years. The mama in on it, the grandma in on it, and the real victims are those twin girls, and her oldest daughter. And he been calling his daughter too man. This sh*t is so crazy man but they don't understand."

The man said that when he discovered Rickey's relationship with the woman, the latter reportedly tried to "pull the girls" from him and attempted to manipulate everyone by claiming that he was not taking care of the kids. He also mentioned:

"So I'm trying to fight for my kids and she's just pulling them back, pulling them back. And it just denying access and the manipulation, invite my other kids to hang out with the girls on it man. That sh*t was so f*cked up man."

The man wrote in an Instagram Story that the woman allegedly tried to defend Rickey Smiley by keeping their alleged relationship a secret. The man also alleged that his family members turned against him "because of her lies" and added:

"She's been his side chick since she was 17 years old and the momma encouraged her to do it! She's 37 today so yall do the math."
