Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s son, Riot Rose Mayers, celebrated his first birthday on August 1, 2024. Riot is the second of the couple's two children, joining his older brother, RZA.
To commemorate the special occasion, A$AP Rocky shared a heartfelt post on Instagram. The 36-year-old rapper posted a series of photos, featuring birthday snapshots of Riot, a cute snapshot of baby Riot wearing Beats headphones, and a video call screenshot of father and son, among other moments.

They share two children together, RZA, who is 2 years old, and Riot, who has just turned 1.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky made their relationship official in 2021, as confirmed by A$AP Rocky in a GQ interview. The couple announced that they were expecting a baby in January 2022, after photos of them strolling through New York City with Rihanna’s baby bump went viral.
In an interview with Elle in March 2022, the Anti hitmaker opened up about the kind of mom she would be, and as a fan of Real Housewives, she admired some of the stars’ parenting styles. She told the magazine:
"Heather Dubrow is so chic while being a mom. Just love the way that she just allows her kids to be who they are. And that's really inspiring to me. But Teresa [Giudice] from Jersey does not play about her kids. She will flatten you about those kids. And that resonates with me a lot because I feel like that's the type of mom I'm going to be. Psycho about it."
The couple welcomed their first son, RZA Athelston Mayers, on May 13, 2022. RZA was named after rapper and producer RZA, the 55-year-old leader of the hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan, real name Robert Fitzgerald Diggs.
In April 2022, RZA appeared on the cover of British Vogue with his mom and dad, at just 9 months old. Speaking to the magazine, Rihanna gave insights on how their first son had altered their lives positively:

"He struggled in the beginning, but he loves his little brother. Every time he thinks we're not looking at him, he'll come over and touch him. If the baby's crying, he'll just hold his hands.
