Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce on Tuesday, August 20, exactly two years after their lavish second wedding at the actor's estate in Georgia, as reported by TMZ. They first wed in Las Vegas chapel on July 16, 2022. Per Lopez's latest filing, the former couple had separated on April 26. It was a month before divorce rumors had started, as they spent most of spring and summer apart.
Jennifer Lopez has been married four times: Ojani Noa (1997-1998), Cris Judd (2001-2003), Marc Anthony (2004-2014), and Ben Affleck (since 2022). The Dance Again singer was also previously engaged to former Yankee star Alex Rodriquez before she married Affleck.

Jennifer Lopez's first marriage was to actor-producer Ojani Noa in February 1997, just a year after they met at a Miami Beach restaurant where he worked as a waiter. Their marriage lasted about 11 months, and Lopez reportedly kept her engagement ring. In a 2023 TV appearance on Sit Down, Noa said he told her to keep everything, including the ring, as he didn't want to dwell on the past.

Cris Judd
The On the Floor singer wed Cris Judd in September 2001. But by June of the following year, the former couple's marriage was over. However, their divorce was not finalized until 2003.
Judd told Us Weekly in 2014 that their marriage simply "didn't work out," adding:
"I can't give you answers as to why her relationships don't work. I think that it's that it is work. It's whether you want to work on it or not. Everyone has baggage and problems."

Marc Anthony
Jennifer's third marriage was with singer Marc Anthony. They made it official in June 2004 and welcomed twins Emme and Max about four years later. But, a month before they could celebrate their seventh wedding anniversary, in July 2011, the ex-couple announced that they were calling it quits.
After they separated, Jennifer Lopez opened up about her marriage with Anthony, saying that it wasn't the dream she initially thought it was. She told W in 2016:
"When my marriage ended, it was not easy to find forgiveness. It wasn't the dream that I had hoped for, and it would have been easier to fan the flames of resentment, disappointment, and anger."
However, the singer noted that Anthony is her children's father. That had forced her to try and work to make things right, which she said was "the hardest work" she has ever done.
In related news to her divorce from Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez is reportedly requesting the court to waive her right to request the actor for spousal support. She also asked the judge to deny the Hollywood actor's claim for spousal support, in case he asks for one in response to her divorce filing, as the couple reportedly didn't sign a prenup when they tied the knot.
