Music manager and hip-hop commentator Wack 100 recently predicted how Sean “Diddy” Combs might convert to Islam in order to stay safe in federal prison, if and when he is convicted. In an interview clip uploaded on November 12 on YouTube, Wack 100 told VLADTV’s DJ Vlad:

“I can see him turning to Islam, probably, preferably Sunni Muslims in that situation. You know, Diddy’s not going to… turn into a gang member, a gang beggar. If he’s associating himself with anything, it probably would be the Muslims.”

Wack 100 further noted that the Bad Boy Records owner would also be safe in federal prison as he “got a bag,” and thus people were going to “approach him on the strength” that he could not only do things for himself but also for other inmates.

Exploring Wack 100’s latest remarks of Diddy potentially changing his religion in prison

Wack 100, whose real name is Cash Jones, recently sat down with DJ Vlad and discussed that there was a possibility of Diddy changing his religion if he ended up being incarcerated. When he heard from Vlad that Combs is a Christian, he shared:

“I think that might change.”

When DJ Vlad asked whether the rapper would turn into a “true Muslim,” Cash Jones mentioned it was because the “Muslim card is real deep.”

“They solidified and respected in the federal system,” Wack 100 added.

Elsewhere, the duo discussed how Diddy would be “safe” in federal prison because he would be “put in the section” with “other s*x offenders” and former gang members, who aren’t known to be “violent.”

However, if he was convicted of something crazier, Wack 100 believes Combs might end up with the “general population.”

Diddy was raised as a Christian and was even an altar server as a boy. Notably, in 2016, he and record producer Stevie J created a gospel album under his Bad Boy Records label called Thank You. At the time, Combs told Ebony Magazine during an interview:

“I liked going to a Baptist Church with my grandma; she was the one who really put me up on God. I don’t go to church every Sunday, and I’m not overtly religious…”

He further noted how he was “not the best person to do this album” but wanted it to be an “average person’s point of view” to get the “message across.” However, Thank You was never released.

Diddy is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center

On September 16, Sean Combs was arrested from the Park Hyatt Hotel in Manhattan, New York City following a grand jury indictment that charged him with racketeering conspiracy, s*x trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

He has been denied bail multiple times despite pleading not guilty. Combs is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center, Brooklyn, awaiting trial on May 5, 2025.

As per the latest reports, Diddy is staying at the 4 North unit of the MDC which is a dorm facility harboring 20 inmates, alongside entrepreneur and convicted fraudster Sam Bankman-Fried. The rules in this section are allegedly more flexible than the general population.

For instance, inmates are reportedly allowed to play air hockey. Some even allegedly try and interact with female prisoners through the grates, who live a floor below.

They are also allotted 300 minutes of call time a month which amounts to 10 minutes per day.

Several high-profile individuals have previously lived at the MDC including Michael Cohen, R. Kelly, Martin Shkreli, Ghislaine Maxwell, and Fetty Way. Last month, the Bureau of Prisons, the Justice Department’s Inspector General’s Office, and other law enforcement agencies launched an “interagency operation” to investigate the MDC’s living conditions and make it a safer environment for its inmates.

This came in the wake of rampant violence and multiple deaths at MDC. In fact, last month, federal prosecutors charged as many as nine inmates with a series of attacks that happened between April and August.
