“I don’t know what we got going on” — S*xyy Red discusses her relationship with Chief Keef, noting they “like each other”

Pound Town rapper Sexyy Red opened up about her relationship with Chief Keef. During a Wednesday, August 14 episode of GRM Daily's Thoughts In A Culli, Sexyy Red noted Keef was her "dog" and that she didn't have too many "homeboys" that she could get on the phone with. However, she stated,

"I’m not even saying that’s my homeboy ‘cause I don’t know what we got going on. We like each other."

Red mentioned that the father of her first child was in jail and that she was not with the father of her second child, adding that Keef could be her "third baby daddy". Back in June, Red entered into a fiery feud with King Von‘s sister Kayla B over the rapper and confirmed the next month that she and Keef were working on a joint album together.

During the latest episode of GRM Daily's Thoughts In A Culli, GRM CEO Post asked Sexyy Red about her relationship with Chief Keef. Red answered,

"It’s genuine, that’s my peoples. That’s my dog. I don’t got too many homeboys that I can sit on the phone with."

Red added that the duo liked each other and continued,

"But we can sit on the phone, we can be around each other and act like we been knew each other all these years."

When Red was asked if the two of them liked each other, she agreed and called Chief Keef her "n----." When asked about her previous relationships, Red conceded that her first baby daddy was in jail and called for his freedom. She also noted that she was not with her second baby daddy while joking that Keef could be her third baby daddy.

Sexyy Red has collaborated with Chief Keef Multiple times with the duo, also making a few social media appearances together. Back in June of this year, Red entered into a public beef over Chief Keef with the late King Von's sister Kayla B. The whole thing kick-started with Kayla posting a picture of her kissing Keef on social media and tagging Red asking her to be part of a family.

Sexyy Red responded by telling Kayla that she was going to get her and posted a plethora of sensual images showcasing herself in bed with Chief Keef’s chain. Kayla responded by posting a series of pictures of herself, including one of Keef, listening to music in bed with her. As per Hip Hop Dx, Red responded,

"You can’t run me off that easy now. I guess we gonna have to share that d**k. We sharing this n----. You can’t run me off that easy, baby. We gonna have to share that d**k, OK?"

However, Hot 97 reported that the whole beef was a promotional tactic for Red's remix collaboration with Chief Keef, Bow Bow Bow (F My Baby Mama), a remix of her track Bow Bow Bow (F My Baby Dad). They have also previously collaborated on the track Ghetto Princess from Red's 2023 mixtape Hood Hottest Princess.

Chief Keef even brought out Sexyy Red during his set at Rolling Loud Los Angeles in March. In an interview with Billboard in March following the performance, Keef was asked about bringing Red on stage with him. He said,

"I know she f**k with me really heavy and I f**k with her, too."

Red told Keef she wanted to "come through" and the rapper agreed enthusiastically. When asked about her incredible rise to fame, Keef said,

"You can tell she just really come from where we come from."

During a July interview with Viper Magazine during the Wireless Festival in London, Sexyy Red confirmed she was working on an album together with her "boo" Chief Keef. Further details regarding the LP have not been revealed yet by either artist.
