Ever since rapper Lil Durk was arrested on October 24 for allegedly putting a hit on Quando Rondo in 2022, his associate OTF Jam has been accused of snitching on him. In response to the fan allegations and speculation circulating online, OTF Jam finally broke his silence via Instagram Stories on December 17.
“N***a I ain’t lie to yo face about sh*t and when the discovery come out you gone see I’m not how the feds got onto us or built they case… Imma le the paperwork come out cuz it’s gone tell it all,” OTF Jam wrote.
He continued by asking people accusing him of ratting out Lil Durk and his associates to stop “playing” with him, as their mothers “lost enough already.” OTF Jam shared that if Lil Durk didn’t want to get incriminated, he shouldn’t have gone to the concerned crime scene.
“Look I don’t give a f*ck if I didn’t do something ain’t no n***a gone FaceTime me and tell they on they way to my crib to beat my a*s and when they get there, ima wonna talk or tell a n***a his bad,” Jam added.
For the unversed, internet personalities like DJ Akademiks and Wack 100 have called OTF Jam an alleged snitch, apart from others.
Exploring OTF Jam’s statement in the wake of Lil Durk's snitching allegations
On Tuesday, OTF Jam shared on his social media that he didn’t snitch on Lil Durk, contrary to the rumors circulating online. He then slammed his 'Only The Family' associates one by one.
For instance, he called out someone named Boona and accused him of switching “sides” after going back home. OTF Jam claimed that Boona didn’t dare share his true “feelings” as he knew how it would’ve turned out.
“I would’ve made yo momma cry when she saw you and it wouldn’t have been cuz she was happy to see you cuz I would’ve broke yo face before you went home,” he wrote.
OTF Jam warned Boona not to spew lies in the name of “different stories” and “stop making the world think” he was responsible for Lil Durk’s arrest when it was reportedly them.
Jam also threatened Boona’s cousin Jare, accusing him of trying to make his “move” on Durk’s legacy now that he was away.
“I would’ve never did 12 years if it wasn’t cuz of you and Boonie underage lil girlfriend, so stop it try something else. But I guess you a nobody you gotta try and be a part of something like the rest of the nobody’s don’t try and use my name so you can come back outside… you know what you did,” he added.
Likewise, OTF Jam called out a woman named Lexio and claimed she just wanted to be a “part of something” related to Lil Durk. He mentioned she wouldn’t have been able to pay her bills without his financial help.
Finally, OTF Jam criticized one of Lil Durk’s former partners, Nikki Nicole, calling her “miserable” and making similar allegations against her. Jam asked her to realize that Durk didn’t “care” for her and seemingly asked her to grow up and move on rather than make false claims about him snitching on his boss.
Notably, since Lil Durk was arrested in late October, theories surfaced online that his OTF collective member Jam allegedly snitched on him by wearing a wire around him. For instance, DJ Akademiks shared on Instagram on October 31:
“He [OTF Jam] reportedly served a 12-year sentence in prison and came home and then got booked shortly on a gun right after allegedly Durk gave him $50k as a coming home gift.”
Wack 100 also made similar speculations during a November 1 chat with DJ Vlad on VLADTV.
“He [OTF Jam] did 12 years, got out, interviewed, said he kept it real. [Lil Durk] brought him cars, gave him 50,000. Made mention that ain’t no smudge on his name. He [OTF Jam] ain’t never been a rat, caught a gun case, but eventually, he flipped,” Wack 100 noted.
The music manager even claimed that OTF Jam had been reportedly wearing a wire for the last two years, ever since he was released from prison in February 2022 after serving an attempted murder sentence from 2010. A viral video featuring Jam around Durk seemingly wearing a wire-like thing also surfaced online last month, further fuelling the rumors.
However, neither the indictment nor the criminal complaint against Lil Durk mentions him by name, even though they refer to a confidential informant. So far, the informant's identity remains undisclosed.
U.S. Marshals arrested Lil Durk on October 24 in South Florida after his grand jury indictment was unsealed in Los Angeles. Currently, he is facing charges of murder-for-hire against Quando Rondo in August 2022. While Rondo escaped, it ended up killing his close friend/ cousin Saviay’a “Lul Pab” Robinson. Reportedly, it was meant as a retaliation for Durk’s associate King Von’s November 2020 killing.
