On September 21, 2024, 50 Cent, also known as Curtis James Jackson III, appeared on CBS Saturday Morning. On the show, Michelle Miller interviewed him about his book, The Accomplice. During the interview, the rapper talked about his friendship with Eminem and recalled an incident about the latter refusing to go on a joint tour with him.

50 Cent mentioned that he pitched the joint world tour to Eminem, stating that they would perform on super arena stages together. He added that they would bring Dr. Dre on some dates, allowing them to do different things, which he described as making it the "biggest tour in the world." However, Eminem allegedly declined the tour because he didn't want to miss his daughter Haile Jade's childhood.

50 Cent added:

“I thought he was crazy because I was like, ‘He just don’t want to go.’ ‘Cause I was trying to convince him to go on the tour at that point."

However, at Haile Jade's wedding in May 2024, 50 Cent stated he understood why Eminem said no to the tour. Talking about the same, the rapper mentioned that he realized they were getting older. He also said that he had a moment and shed a tear at the wedding.

"The first night I met him, he had an event"- 50 Cent recalls the first time he met Eminem

50 Cent appeared on Million Dollaz Worth of Game on September 2, 2024, and he talked about the first time he met Eminem. Describing his initial encounter with Eminem as "wild," the Intro rapper said that it felt like he was on MTV Punk'd and that someone would use the tagline "You've been Punk'd" on him. 50 Cent mentioned that he had worn his signature bulletproof vest at the time, and added:

“I get there, he’s like, ‘Yo!’ Hugs me, feel the vest and sh– and was like [shocked expression]. [I said,] ‘Yo, this is going to be the biggest sh– ever, right?’ He’s like, ‘Yo, so excited.’ It made me question whether what was happening was happening was right. It felt so good that it couldn’t be right. "

He continued:

"I’m like, ‘Yo, nah.’ When I left that meeting, I didn’t want him to feel like he bought a problem so I wouldn’t say anything about Ja Rule and them.”

50 Cent mentioned Ja Rule in reference to the latter's feud with Eminem in the early 2000s. During that time, Ja Rule expressed in a diss track about his discontent with Eminem and Dr. Dre signing the In da Club rapper to their label.

Giving more details about the first time he met Eminem, the Many Men rapper mentioned:

“When I met him, the first night I met him, he had an event. The Marshall Mathers LP just came out. The first week he sold 1.7 million records. And he was so excited about me that I’m looking like, ‘[Are] you serious?'”

In other news, 50 Cent is releasing a documentary on Diddy which will be streaming on Netflix. In an interview with Variety in December 2023, the rapper called the documentary "a story with deep human impact."
