"I thought only Floyd do sh*t like that" — 50 Cent reacts to Lil Baby losing millions in gambling spree within 40 hours

In the latest episode of Lil Yachty's A Safe Place Podcast dated December 19, 2024, Dominique Armani Jones aka Lil Baby mentioned that he lost $8 million in 40 hours. Sharing a snippet from the podcast, rapper 50 Cent reacted to Jones' gambling spree and mentioned:

"Nah these young 🥷🏾crazy 8 million Gambling. 😏I thought only Floyd do s*it like that. LOL come out the joint looking distraught. I’m just glad he didn’t kill no body."

In his comment, 50 Cent was referring to Floyd Mayweather who is known to be a sports better in addition to being a boxer. According to Legal Sports Betting, apart from his sports betting history, Mayweather also gambles at casinos.

During the podcast, Yachty asked Lil Baby about how much he'd ever spent gambling. Answering the same, the Woah rapper said:

"One day, probably [in] like, 40 hours. 40 hours straight, I lost like, $8 million, $9 million. I made myself stop gambling. I had Mike Ruben write a letter to every casino and ban me from the casino, 'cause I just do shit."

"I’m dropping the WHAM album and Dominique album": Lil Baby talks about upcoming albums

During his appearance on Lil Yachty's A Safe Place podcast, Lil Baby talked about dropping double albums by stating:

“At first, I was telling people I was going to drop a double album. Now, I’m dropping the WHAM album and Dominique album.”

The We Paid rapper said that Dominique might arrive in February 2025 after WHAM. On December 21, 2024, Jones announced via an Instagram post that WHAM (Who Hard As Me) will be released on January 3, 2025. The rapper also posted the tracklist featuring 15 songs and high-profile artists like Glorilla, Travis Scott, and 21 Savage as collaborators.

Moreover, Lil Yachty asked Lil Baby how the two albums would be different from one another to which Jones said that he put some of the songs that he was originally going to use for Dominique on WHAM because he knew his fanbase wanted to hear certain kind of songs. Describing the difference between the two projects, the Freestyle rapper said:

"WHAM is more me on some young n-gga shit — fast cars, girls, jewelry, money. You know, the turnt lifestyle. And Dominique is more the serious me, more personal. That’s a part of the new journey I’m on. I hate the word vulnerable, but I’m gonna be more open to my fans and my audience.”

According to a report by HipHopDX dated November 14, 2024, Lil Baby talked about WHAM in a now-deleted Instagram post sharing:

“I Had The Darkest Period Of My Life These Last Two Years But I Stayed Down And Overcame That Shit[.] Now I’m Back To Fu**in Shit Up As Usual…, Sincerely Wham !! Who Hard As Me[.] Let’s Gooooooo.”

In other news, in a clip shared by Charlamagne Tha God on Instagram on December 19, 2024, Lil Baby appeared in Charlamagne's Out Of Context interview series. Answering a question about his relationship with Gunna and whether the two will make music again, the We Paid rapper said that he and Gunna don't have a relationship.
