Simone Biles' mother had Snoop Dogg in a pickle on Sunday, July 28, as she jokingly reminded the rapper about an old encounter. The team US gymnast and her mother, Nellie Biles, allegedly met Snoop back in 2010 at Times Square.
The rapper-turned-NBC-correspondent was interviewing Simone Biles' family following Team USA's qualifying with the overall No. 1 spot. He was joined by NBC anchor Hoda Kotb who let the cat out of the bag and told Snoop that he had known Simone for a long time.
Seemingly surprised by the revelation Snoop turned to Nellie Biles for an answer who said:
"I remember. I will never forget when we met you in Times Square, 2010. And you said, 'cause we asked for a picture, two minutes. One, two and you were gone."
The sarcastic dig was followed by a round of laughter from the whole crew.

“The first [gymnastics] competition is Sunday, which is women’s qualifier and, of course, she needs to rest up before that competition.” said Nellie Biles.
The qualifier event on Sunday, July 28, was attended by numerous artists, including - Snoop Dogg, Nick Jonas, Ariana Grande, John Legend, and Tom Cruise. While everyone was cheering for Simone, Snoop went the extra mile as he was seen wearing a custom t-shirt featuring a portrait of the gymnast.
