Snoop Dogg's only daughter Cori Broadus has struggled with physical health issues. Cori has previously talked about her battle with lupus since she was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease at 6. On January 18, 2024 she posted on her Instagram that she had experienced a "severe stroke." She posted the story from the hospital and wrote,
"I started breaking down crying when they told me."
In a now expired follow-up story, Cori expressed her sadness. She wrote,
"I'm only 24. What did I do in my past to deserve all of this?"
According to People, Snoop Dogg's daughter opened up about the warning signs of her stroke. She alerted her fans to pay attention to the potential indicators of a stroke.

Following her stroke on January 18, Cori Broadus opened up about the warning signs of her stroke. According to People, Cori posted about the symptoms on her Instagram story on January 22. She shared a screenshot of her notes and listed all the symptoms "a day before the stroke." She experienced,
"Blurry vision, really bad headache pain on right side, fatigue and nausea."
She urged her fans to "listen" to their bodies and added,
“I’m glad I’m still here and able to tell my story.”
Broadus also noted that her "blood pressure" was very high before the health scare. She wrote,
“So before my stroke my blood pressure was like 170, then it started going down slowly… I’ve been trying to just keep data of everything."
She added that her blood pressure had returned to 118/80 mmHg saying,
“I just checked it rn!!! & wtffffff…. God is so good to me. It hasn;t been like this in a minute!!!!”
According to People, Broadus came back home after her CT scans were cleared. Snoop Dogg also shared an update on his daughter's health during The Underdoggs premiere. He told People,
“She's doing a little bit better.”
It is not clear what caused Cori's stroke. It came amid her long-term battle with lupus. For the lupus awareness month in May 2024, Cori posted a video on her Instagram.
She also posted a video on Instagram to talk about her journey with the disease. Due to the diagnosis early in her life, Cori grew up experiencing many difficulties. She captioned the video as,
“I feel like my childhood literally got taken away from me in a snap of a finger.”
Snoop Dogg's daughter talked about feeling different from her friends and family. She also revealed her experiences of being "bullied" through her school days. She disclosed that she had attempted s*icide on May 4th 2021.
After her stroke, Cori Broadus has worked actively on her health. She revealed later that she had joined a stroke recovery program and has lost 40 pounds. She told People that with a "360 degree" shift in her health, she will "do good."
Although Snoop Dogg's daughter has experienced various difficulties with her physical and mental health, she has tried to bounce back every time. Cori Broadus is also an advocate for mental health and often takes to her social media to raise awareness regarding the same.
