On October 15, 2024, Russell Simmons' daughter Aoki Lee Simmons took to Instagram Live to speak up for Diddy's children. The rapper has seven children that he shares with four different women. Aoki spoke for them given the Last Night rapper was arrested and is facing charges on s*x trafficking.
In her Instagram Live, Aoki mentioned that the rapper's children are wonderful people and said that she hopes everyone treats them with love and respect "because they're nice kids". The 22-year-old continued:
“It’s not their fault that anything — adults, that’s adult business, and they’re not adults.”
Moreover, Aoki said that children should not be blamed for their parents' actions and called Diddy's children her "little cousins" stating they're in school and are not adults so they should be treated like children.

Diddy was arrested on September 16, 2024, from a hotel in New York, post which a grand jury indicted the rapper on charges of s*x trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
On October 10, 2024, the Coming Home rapper made his first appearance in court at the Manhattan federal courthouse.
While Diddy's mother Janice Combs was present to support her son, the rapper's six children Quincy Brown, 33, Justin Combs, 30, Christian Combs, 26, Chance Combs, 18, and twins Jessie and D’Lila Combs, 17, also came to court with their grandmother.
While the rapper adopted Quincy Brown when he started dating Kim Porter, Christian Combs, twins D'Lila and Jessie are his children with Porter who died in November 2018.

Diddy and Kim Porter's daughters clarify rumors circulating their parents in statement
In September 2024, Chris Todd released a 59-page book, titled Kim’s Lost Words, which was billed on memoir stating it was the late Kim Porter's memoir. The book claims that the rapper and Kim Porter allegedly had an abusive relationship and also mentioned conspiracy theories regarding Porter's death.
The rapper's children D'Lila, Jessie Combs, and Quincy Brown penned a statement on September 24, 2024, as per Billboard, putting an end to the rumours surrounding their parents' relationship. The rapper's children mentioned:
“We have seen so many hurtful and false rumors circulating about our parents, Kim Porter and Sean Combs’ relationship, as well as about our mom’s tragic passing, that we feel the need to speak out."
Diddy has pleaded not guilty to all charges against him and is currently placed at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. Moreover, in his latest court appearance, the rapper's court date for his trial was set at May 5, 2024.
According to BBC, if the rapper is convicted, he will face the punishment of life imprisonment on the charge of racketeering. Additionally, the rapper might face a statutory minimum of 15 years on the s*x trafficking charge.
