On October 3, 2024, 212 singer Azealia Banks took to X to react to Bia showing admiration for Nicki Minaj via a tweet on the same day. In her tweet responding to Bia, Azealia called out Minaj and alleged that befriending Bia is convenient for Minaj. She also mentioned:

"No bia.... Nicki knows you're not clever enough to compete with her and it soothes the cardi b thorn in her back to try and boost other Latina rappers that pale I'm comparison to cardi b because she deep down wants to be cardi's bestie. You and Ice Spice were here token Latina sidekicks. Get real."

Bia has a history of feuding with Cardi B wherein she previously accused Cardi of cheating on her ex-husband Offset. Additionally, there has been beef between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj since 2017. In her tweet, Bia complimented Nicki Minaj and mentioned:

"This is about Jay-Z" - Azealia Banks comments on Nicki Minaj's feud with Megan Thee Stallion

The recent instance of Azealia Banks commenting on Bia praising Nicki Minaj and calling out Minaj in the process, isn't the first instance of the rapper expressing her opinion on the Tusa rapper.

Azealia's feud with Nicki Minaj began in 2012 when she declined an opportunity to tour with Minaj in Europe to finish her debut album. The feud started with Minaj indirectly addressing Azealia in a tweet stating "#ManTheseB*tchesDelirious" which resulted in a back and-forth between the female rappers.

In February 2024, Azealia Banks commented on Nicki Minaj's beef with Megan Thee Stallion. Nicki and Megan's feud began with the latter's track Hiss wherein she addressed Minaj in her lyrics.

However, Azealia's take on the situation involved Jay-Z in Nicki and Megan Thee Stallion's disagreement. On February 1, 2024, Azealia took to Instagram Live suggesting that Nicki Minaj was upset with Megan because she was signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation label via a management deal in 2019 and Nicki wanted to get that opportunity for herself as well. Talking about the same on Instagram Live, Azealia Banks mentioned:

“Originally I was just going to stay out of this because it’s another day, another rap beef — who really cares? But I think there’s some interesting parts to this that everyone’s missing. This isn’t about Meg [collaborating] with Cardi. This is about Jay-Z. … Jay-Z has this way of presenting himself in the culture as a Daddy Warbucks type of figure.”

Azealia also mentioned:

“It’s been years since Jay-Z publicly co-signed any female rapper, and the fact that it’s Megan — it could be anyone — the fact some female rapper that’s not Nicki got Jay-Z’s public co-sign makes Nicki jealous. … And I’m really not trying to diss Meg. She’s not a typical Roc Nation girl. She’s still ham hocks and hushpuppies.”
