In an interview with The New York Times dated August 8, 2024, Post Malone talked about Taylor Swift and Beyonce, given the rapper appeared on the former's track Fortnight and Queen Bey's Levii's Jeans in 2024.
Talking about the kind of hard work that goes into being at the level the two female singers are at, Malone recalled the efforts Taylor Swift took during the shoot of Fortnight. The Sunflower rapper told the publication that Swift needed "an umbrella and drapes over the gold cart" to avoid drones and helicopters from getting footage of her music video.

In his interview with The New York Times, Post Malone stated that when collaborating with other artists, he just wants to hang out, have a beer, and listen to other people's ideas. Saying how "there's a lot of people set in their ways", the rapper mentioned that he wants to make a collaborative song work in the "best way for the song".
Malone also talked about his collaboration with Taylor Swift and Beyonce wherein he mentioned that Taylor Swift brought Fortnight to the rapper's home-based studio in Los Angeles. The Circles rapper said that he added freestyle melodies to Taylor's track for additional background hooks that could be placed in the song's bridge.
Post Malone also shared that while he hasn't met Beyonce yet, she sent her track to his personal compound in Utah along with a representative. Talking about how he communicated with Beyonce via text giving the song and its details were confidential, the rapper stated:
