According to The Mirror on December 1, 2024, late singer Liam Payne's missing $38,000 Rolex was promised to two escorts he spent time with before his death.
Security camera footage from the day of Liam's death showcased the Rolex on his wrist hours before his demise, however, authorities reported the singer wasn't wearing it when he fell from the balcony, and nor was it stolen after he fell.
As per Argentinian new portal Infobae's report mentioned by The Mirror, one of the escorts claimed to have forgotten her makeup and was given permission to access Liam's third-floor room at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel, Bueno Aires to get the same. Sources close to the investigation of the former One Direction member's death stated that was when the Rolex watch disappeared.
The woman claimed that she and another female escort were promised $6300 by Liam Payne but didn't get the full amount. The escorts also told prosecutors that Liam kneeled in front of them and said, "I love you, I love you," in addition to reportedly promising them his Rolex watch.
The report stated `Roger Nores, the singer's former manager, tried to "resolve the situation". It was 40 minutes after the incident that the singer was found dead falling three floors from the balcony of his hotel room.
