Following the tour, the band will perform across Europe and the UK. The journey kicks off with a show at the Yes Basement on July 26, 2024, followed by an appearance at the Latitude festival in England. This festival will showcase acts like English Teacher, Duran Duran, and more.
After Latitude, Lifeguard is scheduled to perform three stand-alone shows in England and Germany, respectively, followed by a performance at the Absolutely Free Festival, scheduled at the C Mine in Genk, Belgium, on August 2-3, 2024. Lifeguard, composed of Asher Case and Isaac Lowenstein, hails from Chicago, Illinois. In a Sun 13 exclusive interview on March 5, 2021, the duo elaborated on their origins and stated:
"We all met at different times, and there were a lot of different bands happening around the middle of 2019 – Asher was previously in another Chicago band called Neptune’s Core, Isaac was playing intermittent percussion for his sister’s band Horsegirl, and Kai was (and still is) in his other band, Dwaal Troupe."
The band independently released their first album, DIVE, in 2021 before signing up with Matador Records in 2023. That same year, the band released two EPs, Crowd Can Talk and Dressed in Trenches.
