Rapper 50 Cent appeared on Cam'ron's interview series, Talk With Flee, posted on YouTube on December 5, 2024. During the interview, the rapper talked about his appearance at the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show along with Eminem and Dr Dre.

Cent said that Jay-Z told Eminem that the NFL allegedly had an issue with his performance. Cam'ron asked 50 Cent if Jay-Z felt threatened by the possibility of Cent performing at the halftime show due to their alleged longstanding feud. In response, the rapper said that Jay-Z wasn't threatened, however, the "culture" was "competitive."

50 Cent said:

"I think when it goes past the music itself to the blocking things in business, then I don't understand that. Right now, he's not even competing for a slot. He don't have a new song out that he wants to be on the top 10 or top 5. And you still competing? That don't make sense. What we competing for?"

Cent questioned the issues with the NFL that Jay-Z mentioned to Eminem. The In da Club rapper added that the NFL didn't have an issue with him becoming a partner with the actual teams, so it didn't make sense for the NFL to have an issue with his performance at the Super Bowl.

"Jay helped me with that"- 50 Cent talks about Jay-Z helping him write some bars of Diddy's 'I Get Money'

In his appearance on The Breakfast Club on October 29, 2024, 50 Cent talked to Charlamagne Tha God about Diddy, wherein the discussion of a meme came up which suggested that Cent ghostwrote the verses for Diddy's tracks I Get Money (Forbes 1,2,3 Remix) and Let's Get It.

Charlamagne Tha God played a verse from Diddy's I Get Money, which states:

“Bo knows but Diddy did it/ Cars, jewelry and big homes, yeah, Diddy did it/ Shootouts, coastal beefs, yeah, Diddy did it/ But my lawyer’s so good that Diddy got acquitted.”

Talking about the particular verse, 50 Cent revealed that he wrote it with Jay-Z's help. Cent said:

“Jay helped me with that. Jay did that part right there where he said, ‘Shootouts, coastal beefs.’ I wasn’t around for that, that was like East Coast/West Coast.”

The Ayo Technology rapper said that there were some things that Diddy wanted to say, and Jay-Z knew about the same. Describing how it worked, Cent recalled that Diddy would ask Jay-Z to mention something in a verse, and Jay-Z would remember the idea in his head so he could say it without "writing it down."

While it is unclear what started the alleged longstanding rivalry between Cent and Jay-Z, the two share a complicated history. Both rappers have been taking shots at each other via their tracks since 1999.

Talking to Cam'ron about how Jay-Z's Roc Nation allegedly didn't want him at the Super Bowl LVI Halftime, the rapper said that Eminem wouldn't have performed at the halftime without him.

Cent mentioned that he attended the Super Bowl Halftime because Eminem reportedly said he wouldn't come if the Baby By Me rapper didn't. He alleged that if it were up to Roc Nation, they wouldn't have him there. 50 Cent said that he was surprised and that he wasn't on the bill at all, but reportedly since Roc Nation couldn't get Eminem to perform without him, they had Cent perform as well.
