Touring production company M99 Studios has filed a lawsuit against Lil Uzi Vert at the U.S. District Court in Atlanta on June 12, 2024. The lawsuit claims that the rapper owes them unpaid bills worth $533,499, and apart from him, the names of his manager Amina Diop and company Uzivert have also been mentioned in the documents.

The Philadelphia, Pennsylvania native has become a popular face over the years for his hit singles such as Sanguine Paradise and That Way. His net worth currently stands at $25 million, as per Celebrity Net Worth.

The filing stated that the company was involved with the artist for a long time. While they took the responsibility of arranging his tours and performances without any issues, Lil Uzi Vert did not pay for everything on time due to which they started facing financial problems.

The legal documents additionally stated that Amina Diop frequently approached them in the past to offer loans to Lil without any interest despite knowing the financial conditions of the company. Notably, the company stated that while Lil failed to pay the bills, he reportedly started ignoring the payment requests they made through invoices from last year.

The lawsuit allegedly claims that although Lil Uzi Vert's bank account was active most of the time, his credit card did not work during the tours, and M99 eventually found it impossible to "ensure the safety and well-being of the crew."

The company started working with Lil in 2017, and the payment issues emerged from 2019. Meanwhile, Lil has yet to share a statement on the entire matter, and further updates are currently awaited.
