DJ Kid Capri criticized 90210 hitmaker Travis Scott for his behavior toward a fan who wanted a picture with him. In a video captured on August 7, Travis Scott was approached by a young fan in France. The fan attempted to lightly touch Scott to ask for a photo, but the rapper swatted away his hand before posing for a quick picture and walking off.

Scott's treatment of the fan did not sit well with DJ Kid Capri, who took to social media later that day to criticize the Rodeo hitmaker for being "disrespectful to kids." In a video posted to social media, he stated:

"Little kid asked you for an autograph, [you] pushed his hand away, looked at him like he was the Devil and just walked away from him."

"Ayo, Travis Scott, When did we start being disrespectful to kids": DJ Kid Capri weighs in on viral video

A viral video filmed on August 7 showcased a young French fan trying to meet Travis Scott and get a picture with him. The kid, who was standing right outside the gates of the place the rapper was coming out of, asked him for a picture by attempting to lightly touch him on the waist.

The rapper, who was dressed up in all-black attire, was initially irked by the sudden touch and swatted away the young fan's hand before posing with a thumbs-up along with the boy and walking off.

A video of Capri's rant was posted on Instagram by All New Hip-Hop, where the DJ asked:

"Ayo, Travis Scott, when did we start being disrespectful to kids, bruh?"

As mentioned earlier, the DJ recalled the situation and claimed that Scott looked at the fan like he was "the Devil." He reminded the rapper:

"At one time, you would’ve wanted somebody to ask you for an autograph or ask you for a picture or whatever it is he asked you for."

DJ Kid Capri noted that celebrities get into the high positions they get before forgetting how they got there. He recalled the tragic loss of 10 lives at Travis Scott's Astroworld Festival in 2021 and mentioned that he would try to be "as humble as possible."

Capri clarified that he was not saying that what happened at the festival was Travis Scott's fault but wanted Scott to be humble to his fans as they "lift you up." He also mentioned that this wasn't the first time that he had seen Scott do "some s**t that was funny style."

The DJ said that Scott's actions rubbed him the wrong way because he came from a background of signing every autograph, taking every picture, and even doing video drops for people. He would've wished for people to ask him for all that even when he wasn't on. He told Travis Scott:

"I'm not at your level but I'm at Kid Capri level and I respect the fans. That right there was crazy. I’m not saying you got to sign everybody’s thing or do what everybody say, but when it comes to little kids, they look at you as a superhero, bruh. That s**t right there was super, super corny."

According to Capri, many celebrities got to high positions and forgot the people who helped them get there. Even if they didn't help them get there, the DJ asked these celebs to "be humble" and be glad that they were in that position.

In other news, Travis Scott was arrested in Paris on Friday, August 9 at the five-star George V hotel following an altercation with his bodyguard. According to the BBC, when a security guard tried breaking up the fight, Scott allegedly attacked him, leading to his arrest.
